Gee's Linctus

I have a bottle of Gee's Linctus in the post, wasn't too costly but I stupidly forgot to factor in my tolerances. My Heroin tolerance should be gone. 2 weeks since my last smoke of piss-poor quality gear. I'm down to 10ml of Methadone every 2 to 3 days, so I'm not sure if a full bottle of Gees will do anything for me.

Regarding buying it online: The big chain chemists don't have it and the one I got it from has a 1 per customer limit. I don't know how often you can go back but that means postage for each bottle...
 
On top of the meth it won't be ideal, but if you're down to 10ml every few days (and well done fot getting to that level) then you'll probably feel summat. Obviously leave it as long as possible after you take your script.
 
I've not read through the whole post but how easy is it to obtain codeine linctus from a pharmacy? They only ever offer me pholcide or some shit
 
Depends on the pharmacy, the staff, how they perceive you, the weather, if they've had a bad day... etc.

Some people have no trouble, others get knocked back all the time. I hear independent pharmacies are often less stringent in their policies.

Luckily I'm not on a script, I get my meth from a friend who doesn't take the piss and gives me his 50ml for a fiver. Because I don't take it every day I've got a wee stockpile of around 150ml. Gotten to a point where a dose gives me a bit of a glow, not a gouch or anything but a nice warm feeling. I'm so glad I never bothered to get a script as they nearly always hit you off with more than you need. My mate recently went back on meth, he told them 30ml was enough to hold him. They offered him 50ml and said take it or leave it. If I'd said 10ml was enough they'd have probably hit me off with 20ml+, no thanks I don't want to be on meth forever...

Anyone know if it's any good. It usually used for stomach problems.

What was the name of the stuff? Kaolin and Morphine?

Just ordered 2 bottles of Gee's Linctus and a bottle of Codeine Linctus, hopefully will arrive in time for the weekend so I can have a look at what all the fuss is about :)
 
Wouldn't theses online pharmacies get a little bit suspicious if your ordering theses drugs regularly
 
^ yes, which is why they allow you only a certain number within a certain time period. I'm sure if you kept buying it they'd blacklist you.

Edit: Now that I've heard about it I keep seeing the shit everywhere. The household name chain near me have it tucked away miles from the tills but still visible and the little independent near me have stacks of it just behind the counter. I've got to stop going in that place stoned and unshaven in a leather jacket and build up a friendly rapport with em.
 
I remember when i was spending time in Jersey and there was nothing to be had and I found an old bottle of kaolin and morphine - it was seperated with clear liquid on top and chalky sludge at the bottom I gulped down a fair amount of the clear stuff and remember just sitting at the kitchen table for hours almost tripping but in an opiated dreamyy way - more like opium. Still don't know what it was i had or how much 'active' ingredient was in it but it certainly made for an interesting day.
 
Yeah, mixture of Christmas tree and old fashioned herb cough syrups and stuff. Cured sore throat , gum infections or pill chewed cheeks. Outside Germany it's so fucking expensive though. In Germany 10€ in Britain £18 for the smaller bottle.

My gees came, stuck my tongue in for the taste. Tastes lovely! Honestly, like it!
 
Bought some today. The woman tried to say they had none in, despite it being in plain site directly behind her... bitch

Definitely one of the top 3 worst things I've ever put in my mouth.
Surprised anyone manages to enjoy that taste. And this is from someone who likes mephedrone drip and the taste of CWE codeine...

It'll grow on you. First time i tried it in december i was shocked, since then i've gargled it for a sore throat. I like it. It's groovy.

there's about 20mg morphine in there
 
1 hour in, taken on an empty stomach with an antacid directly before. very little is going on, maybe equivilent to 120mg codeine?
 
I've done two bottles of gees with little to no opiate tollerance and only felt the slightest tingle, codeine linctus is the only OTC syrup i've ever found worthwhile
 
Surely you'd be more drunk than anything at that point? How much codeine is in the average bottle of syrup? and is it equally shitty tasting?
 
Hardcore Evad... er, I mean, 'sir'. ;)

I dunno, opioids are the ultimate YMMV drug really, and in a very peculiar sense.

I know for a fact that even in times of opiate tolerance I tend to 'feel' opioids that are much weaker than the others I've been using; even felt a couple of cocos for a headache when I've been in the midst of a few days of smack bingeing. Didn't feel a rush exactly, but the contentment was there. An addict former mate of mine (while scripted as well as using) got quite a good feeling out of 100mg of tram he stole fom me when he thought I wasn't looking. :\

What I'm trying to say (badly) is that people's sensitivity to some of the more subtle aspects of opiates varies. As a fellow oxy fan though, I know you're more into the less subtle aspects...
