Gee's Linctus

I'm not sure at all but I'm certain that it could be looked up somewhere.

It's opium tincture in Gee's isn't it? In which case it'd depend upon the alkaloid contents of the opium in question.

You could always try to find an 'average' figure and go with that, but I don't know if it's possible to say exactly.

Should be better than oral morphine though.
 
^T'is opium tincture, yeah. I'm not sure of the actual amount in there, but it's a damn sight better than the oral morphine mixtures. The latter do next to nowt.

Gee's is the closest you'll come to laudanum these days without making it yourself. Which is something I'd really like to do. :)
 
Wow, I thought this had gone long ago. Looks like it can still be bought online but not via high street chemists. What is actually in it? Is it deffo Opium?

TG (or anyone for that matter): Are all oral morphine solutions shit? Someone I know may need to rely on scripted Oramorph for pain relief in the not too distant future and it'd be good to know in advance if the stuff actually works.
 
Gee's has quite a few ingredients including ethanol and opium tincture.

Oramorph's usually prescribed with pain relief in mind so it'll probably be enough for that. in terms of recreational use it's pretty inefficient, but a large enough amount will make you feel pretty good.

Opium tinctures are far more effective orally ml for ml than morphine alone though, due to t'other alkaloids.
 
Gee's Linctus is availible from certain chemists. In fact they all can get it but most choose not to cos of the Stigma. I luv it , My Grandad (R.i.P) used 2 swear by it.
Oramorph on the other hand is prety lame unless you can get the 100mg /5ml , which is pretty unlikely.
 
I find oral morphine to be totally lovely, even at 20 - 30mg doses it makes me feel so good and I do it most days. I think I am naturally sensitive to opiates tho as it doesn't take much of any opiate to get me fucked.

I don't know what the mg/ml is on this Oramorph is.

Edit: This Gee's sounds the bollocks, I might have to hunt some down. Is it a drink from the bottle or a careful spoonful type beverage?

You won't die. But just drink the whole bottle and pair it with promethazine if you want. You'll be fine. Very happy though.
 
Save the promethazine for after its fully kicked in, its a CYP-p450-2D6 substrate and will lessen conversion of codeine to its active metabolites if one does it before the codeine bit of the gee's is fully metabolised.

Bear in mind also that it does contain a small amount of squill tincture (Scilla spp. members of the Lilliacea, related to the hyascinths, and bluebells), which contains some cardiac glycosides, its definately fine in that respect at 2 bottles, but if you are on digitalis, or have heart issues it would be wise not to consume it, or limit the dose to at most a bottle, although I never consciously noticed any marked depression of heart rate at 2 bottles of the stuff.
