GBL Megathread 5: Germans do it better

I am never brave enough to order 5L because knowing myself, I would consume it without having even one day rest. Well have a nice year ;)
 
Is GBL any good? I know that it's all relative to personal tastes but some people say it's heavenly, others say it's almost exactly like being drunk.

Heard it's big in the gay community.
 
Sure it is good. Its like being drunk but a spice in it, more euphoria, a bit stimulation and less alcohol like fucked-up feeling. No hangover, no vomiting. The only cons that it is not advised to use in public, cuz you can easily overdose, and just fall asleep, which is fun at home but not in public.
 
If you have an accurate dosing mechanism then you can dose in public. I use either a dropper bottle which originally contained a herbal cough remedy(1ml/20 drops), or a little 5ml perfume bottle (0.1mls/spray). Dosing subtly is easy with the spray and means I don't have to drink alcohol which is wonderful. If, however, you are using "caps" as a unit of measurement then you should absolutely not dose in public. Same advice applies if you think you'll be unable to resist a shot if you're offered one.
 
Yes and no, it's converted to GHB in the body. I've not tried GHB, but as I understand it GBL hits faster, harder and is over quicker. I'm quite happy with GBL myself :)
 
Tried both GHB and GBL and GBL is far better, however if I had the choice between BSAF made GHB or some dodgy Chinese GBL I'd take the BASF converted batch over the nasty GBL..8)
But yes, good quality GBL is excellent, shame 'ze Germans' don't seem interested anymore ! :D
 
How well does GBL mix with Ketamine? Is it safe and fun? Do I need to significantly lower the dose one of them?
 
Not tried it, read mixed reports, mostly "dangerous and not fun".

I reckon it probably would be fun at low doses though. I enjoyed a high dose of 3-MeO-PCP and GBL on Friday night, but many people would not enjoy that experience. It was quite spinny and mindfuck. Even a bit depressing at times, but I kinda enjoy that sort of depressing, mostly in retrospect...

Be very very careful if you choose to do this though, ketamine might dangerously potentiate the sedative effect of GBL.
 
The only exp review on erowid doesnt seems to be dangerous. Well I dont want clearly mix the two, just when I get bored of all day long gbl, spice it up with some K. Im gonna be careful anyway.
 
One of the few things I've never tried, and I can now access it... The thread gives it rave reviews, do I take the plunge now?
 
GBL? I only wish I'd discovered it years ago. But moderation is key - excessive use can lead to nasty withdrawals. And passing out.
 
You could do to read all five megathreads, because there's some excellent advice, from lots of people, and what not to do. Then loads of information on how to get out of a mess with it. I'll try and answer anything people ask, but I don't spend as much time on here. I'm quite certain everything has been covered.

Research concluded, dipping my toe on with a 250ml bottle, should arrive Wednesday :D

I hear it mixes well with stims? even shitalin and MPA?

It pretty much depends on the reputability of the vendor. Anyone can repackage general grade GBL as analytical grade, where it came from really means nothing.
 
I got 100ml of GHB the other day, its so much nicer than i found GBL, nice relaxing and when i k.o on it to sleep, i wake upo around 3 hrs later, but unlike on gbl i can get back to sleep without redosing, plus it feels lewsss toxic, less comedown/nasty rebound and gbl make me puke when i overdid it wheras ghb just made me fee la bit nautos at first butn ow its fine.

I havnt tried gbl for years mind since it was made illegal

But yeah, to yous with lots of experience with it, i got this 100ml/60g bottle around 5 or so days ago,m been caining it for the las tfew days since i got it and nearly finished it now, will i rattle off it? I remember having a nasty knock off of the gbl but id been using that for a month or so every 3 hrs like clockwork, thjis iv just been smashign fdor few days and i gotta say, its fucking lovely#! wonmt be buying more for a while though i deffo cannae trust myselkf with it
