GBL Megathread 5: Germans do it better

When it was still legal I abused it a lot. Like all the time for probably 6-8 month but I never got brain zaps from it... I got them from mephedrone though. I never had any mayor side effects from gbl only that it desolved a plastic filling in one of my teeth. At least that's what I think happened. My dentist found it a mystery how that could happen.
 
Does anyone know of the legal status of GBL in Brazil? I'm moving there in a couple of months and would be awesome if its legal there.

According to EROWID, GHB is legal for medical use... does that mean it would be easy for me to get hold of GHB too?

What were your withdrawals like when you stopped using it?

I found after heavy use that withdrawal symptoms are pretty much non-existent if you replace your G use with some other form of substance, primarily alcohol.
 
Has anyone else found their GBL use affecting their desire to do other drugs?
I was on GBL daily for months and my stim sessions increased a lot, to where they were all I thought about.
Since quitting though, my desire to take drugs has done a total U turn. I can find it quite easy to resist taking something If Im not in quite the right mood. Before I just couldnt stand sobriety. Maybe I was just addicted to being out of it, I dunno.
 
Yeah, I'm the same as Onandoff. If I do mephedrone I HAVE to have G. I recall being on a bus and doing lots of mephedrone but feeling nothing. As soon as I got off the bus and did a shot my subsequent bumps were pretty intense.

Haha good thing sum 1 feels the same. I used to do gbl everyday for long periods of time on and off through the years,whenever i was on gbl it made me want to do other drugs because inhibitions would let loose and it would end up wit me spending any little money i had on K or something else...
 
I found that G used make me want stims a lot more. Or anything else for that matter (except alcohol). I didn't find that G and K felt bad at all - quite the opposite. There's no real reason why it should be dangerous. K doesn't depress respiration, or anything like that, in fact it increases heart rate.
 
Nah, G used to make me knock my booze addiction on the head, when I had it.
 
I recently got to try some BASF GBL again and I have to say it really is in another league to all that chinese garbage.

1ml got me absolutely wasted and 1.5 and 2ml sent me to sleep! (and I have got a tolerance) soooo good compared to having to drink 2.5ml of that chinese crap haha :D
 
Is there a significant difference in terms of withdrawling from it n etc between the chinese gbl and german basf? i understand that german basf is slighty more potent from what i ve heard from people so far.
The batch i have right now is the chinese quality but i know it is the better of the chinese gbl for sure.
Now that the only vendor with german basf ships to canada im thinking of getting some. I wonder if it would make all that big difference tho.
 
depends on the batch you get. I had that chinese stuff a couple of times. First couple were okay just tasted nasty. Then I got a batch because of low funds and didn't want to pay extra for the basf. Nearly had to double my dose. No real euphoria and had wd like symptoms really early on. As in three hours after my last dose. I've never had wd's with the Basf stuff. You'll enjoy it.

I had the exact same thing with one of my batches! I cheaped out and got some chinese stuff and had to take 2-3ml to even get a buzz out of it and it messed up my stomach a bit too. Nasty stuff.

If you can get the basf it's way worth the extra couple of quid! ;)
 
English GBL vs German GBL

Before GBL became illegal in the UK I used to buy from probably the same vendor as everybody else. I now buy the popular German variety.

Has anybody else noticed a distinct difference in the strength of the high between the German and UK varieties?

The UK stuff used to a give strong pleasant euphoria whereas the German G I find a lot weaker and no matter how much I take, I struggle to get that same feeling the UK G would give me.

I've even tried converting some some of the German GBL to GHB which still gives a disappointing high.

Has anybody else noticed the same thing?

I've not used the german source, but GBL is GBL. If the nature of the high is different, then it's probably a different chemical or contains some sort of added drugs (assuming the drug you were originally taking was in fact GBL in the first place). The only thing that can be different is the dose.
