GBL Megathread: 3ml and Wobbling

I've tried every which way but loose. All you feel is a bit drunk and then sleepy. If that's this generations idea of a high then god preserve us :)

Also, regarding my synth discussion, I was simply stopping the poor guy burning the fuck out of his throat, etc. I knew it was against the rules, but I think a warning is worth helping someone seriously hurting themselves. I know this isn't the place for it.

Like I've said, all the info is *widely available to all who befriend Google* and you can ask all the question you like on there... Don't expect answers straight away though cos it's a pretty shit/slow forum but mr g seems to know his stuff with regard to geeb

It's not allowed cos we can't advise people on ways to break the law - converting a legal substance to an illegal one is most certainly breaking the law. There's also no evidence I'm aware of that GHB is any safer than GBL so it can't really be described as harm reduction either. Even if it could, synth talk is not allowed site-wide so no synth talk means no synth talk - even GHB synth talk :)

Indeed. We're allowed to mention Rhodium too but linking to them (depending on which bit) or pointing out why they are being mentioned can be a bit more touchy. Erowid is littered with synth discussion and we link to them all the time but just not to those pages and not in relation to synthesis. It's a bit of a messy system with plenty of bits that make little sense but it's the system we have :\

I don't think it is really - it's just not allowed. Extractions are okay but synthesis not okay - although both tend to involve converting a legal substance into a less legal one so suppose it is a bit open to interpretation really. That's not to say that it's a rule that's easy to draw the line one or one that I always agree with though...

I can understand the turning a legal substance into an illegal substance, but I have seen discussions about cooking up ketamin so question this?

Also, my reply did imply that GHB is safer than GBL, I didn't mean that at all. I meant that by discussing how to convert it safely you stop, or at least reduce, the chance of said person making a mistake and making something that is not quite right and more harmful.

Thanks for answering me though and I am not trying to argue here. I just see it as a harm reduction tool. :)
 
cooking up ketamine involves evaporating water and nothing more, ketamine in water is still illegal wahslab you're not changing anything

By the same logic you could argue that telling someone how to make meth from cold remedies counts as harm reduction cos they may be less likely to blow themselves up or inject unreacted battery acid or summat if they have access to a good recipe on BL. It may be somewhat true but it's definitely dodgy territory to head into.

Discussion is always a good thing and if you read back some of the replies here you can see that having a modstick doesn't necessarily mean we (meaning us staff wiv sticks) all automatically agree with every aspect of the site rules. This may not be the best place for such a discussion as it's not specific to GBL/GHB but feel free to argue away :)
