GBL Megathread - 2nd dose

Has anyone been to this point, had a long break and then tried again with a first-time-like high? I hope my brain has not changed permanently :(

After periods of weeks (even months sometimes) of more or less 24/7 dosing I've always got "the magic" back after a week or so of laying off it. And that wasn't even stopping completely, just cutting down drastically. Like anything with GBL it seems to vary greatly from one person to the next though.

Magic is not necessarily limited. Using anything on a daily (or near-daily) basis will lessen its subjective effects but it still does the same thing. Take some time off and only use once a week or so and you should get the "magic" every time. Is easier said, I know...

Oh, and I agree that the less-pleasant side-effects do seem to kick in quicker with successive and/or excessive uses. It still works its magic, but will show its teeth sooner too it seems :\

Second day without any substances. My sleep last night was atrocious, I look quite ill today :( I kept drifting in and out of light sleep resulting in many drug related dreams... how messed up is that!? Jesus, my body or subconscious or something must be begging me to get some weed or guice.

I hope I sleep better tonight, I can't think straight and my mind feels foggy.

Good old drug related dreams! I remember when I had done pills every weekend for a coule of months then went away travelling for 3 months %) It is a shame my dreams couldn't induce the feeling...

Back on topic, don't supose anyone knows if there is a tolerance for GBL with ALcohol or Zolpidem?

GBL works on different receptors (GABA-B) to alcohol and Zolpidem (GABA-A). There is no cross tolerance, if that's what you mean. Although, you will need a hell of a lot of a GABA-A agonist to combat withdrawal symptoms from a GABA-B agonist.

Thanks :)

You can see evidence of this when people that can drink 30+ units in a night without even stumbling, taking 1.5mls of GBL (not at the same time, of course) passing straight out.

Christ, all fucking week I've been drinking fucking alcohol, smoking weed, eating benzo's,codiene, even valerian. But mainly being a fucking shitting alkie. Not in the blind drunk way even vaguely, but a bottle of cider here,a bottle of gin there and watching films and reading.I really want some fucking GBL,but my plan of spending money on anything but G worked wonders, since I can't get any till next Thursday.
Glasgow has got the Baclofen testing going on.And maybe one day it will be decided that it is a treatment option.Until then I am destined to be fucked.
Christ I'm fucked up.

I don't know.My head is totally fucked.G has sorted my head and helped me sort my life out over the last 2 years,it did for me what anti-depressants and any other drug never did.Previously I was a straight A fuckup for 5 years. Its only because of the withdrawals that I can't deal with G.But without it I'm either a total introverted, depressed recluse or a "functional" alcoholic eg I don't do idiotic things unde the influence but drink and drink and drink because I am nothing sober.
This week has been one big fucking sloth like mess, with me cancelling all appointments as I don't want people to know that I am drinking. On G I attend work, appointments, meet people, interact with people, get on fine, have fun....nothing too huge, but in a sort of normal life way.

G can work wonders for some things, like depression, for example. It can also wreck your life, as I have found out. You need to pick one; carry on, or give it up. If you choose to carry on, you can't really complain when it bites you hard(er) on the arse. Are you able to stop after you withdraw, for say a week?

Phenibut will get you through withdrawals like you wouldn't believe. You will get a full night's sleep on the first night. HOWEVER, and I can't stress this enough, if you use phenibut in high doses for more than say two days, you will end up in phenibut withdrawal, which is apparently worse than G withdrawal, and lasts for a week. A phenibut taper is only necessary when you get withdrawals from that. To withdraw from G, take 2-3 grammes of phenibut, not long after last dose of G (maybe an hour), as it takes a couple of hours to kick in. Maybe have a few drinks, or some benzos, but be very careful, as they are all depressants. Don't keep redosing phenibut, as it seems to last for a really long time, and the last thing you want is dependence on that. You should only need phenibut for 2 days. Say, for example, 4-6 grammes on the first day (split into two doses), and maybe 2-3 grammes on the second day, and then stop. Do not switch between G and phenibut constantly, or you will find yourself in very hot water. Use the phenibut to come off the G, and then have a good break. You can use phenibut maybe twice a week in lower doses, with a few drinks, just for a nice relaxed feeling.

The one time i mixed alcohol and phenibut i ended up feeling very ill for about 4 hours. I only had a single pint of beer as well. Have you combined alcohol and phenibut without ill effect treacle? Something tells me combinging gbl, alcohol and phenibut could be quite dangerous.

I've combined phenibut, benzos and alcohol several times with no ill effects. You just need to make sure you get the doses right. I've never felt ill from mixing them. I'd have maybe 4 beers, 2 grammes of phenibut and 20mg of diazepam, and feel great, but that's ME. Mixing depressants is risky, but if you work your way up, you'll find your sweet spot.

I didn't see that bit. Don't mix GBL and phenibut. I'd say that would be more dangerous than alcohol and G. I always start on the phenibut when I know the G is wearing off.

Hi guys.

It has been 3 weeks since I had any Guice, which is only because I have no money hah. Nice way of forcing a break - just spend all your money xD

Do you think if I wait another week, which would make a month without gbl, I'd get the magic back?

^ Probably. I had a month off and it works pretty well, with very few of the side effects I was getting after a few months of regular usage. I've kept it strictly to weekend.
