GBL Megathread - 2nd dose

I can only leave G or alcohol around if I have lots. If I've got tons of beer in the fridge I'll only drink a few, but if I've only got 10 or less I'll drink the lot. Same with G: small bottle will just be slugged back and I'll come round a couple of days later pissed off that I used it all, large bottle I just use as and when. Still use a lot, but I have no problem stopping as long as I know there's plenty left. Tis odd.

PS: Thanks for the offer Wahslab - if times get much tougher I'm hopping on a train to the Midlands anyway to hunt for drug dealers of times past :D
 
Never quite understood that myself. Suppose I'm just too much of a miserable sod to get into the whole new year thing. I do give things up when necessary... but only when really necessary. It being January is just never a good enough reason for me.

I'm new and I was reading an old post looking for a supplier of GBL and just realised that my reply came up on a different page, lol

Bigtime g guy here, just can't get enough of it, not good I guess but I love it.

Does anyone know if taking it often is really bad for the stomach? is that a stupid question or is there the slightest possiblity that it's actually not that bad for it?

Hi, Nick. Welcome to BL and EADD - have fun and go wild in the aisles :D

Firstly, you say you came here looking for a supplier - I'll just make it very clear from the start that asking for or offering sources is strictly forbidden. It's worth you while taking a bit of time to read through the Forum Guidelines and BLUA to find out what is and isn't allowed :)

As to your question, this has come up quite a few times and the answer would appear to be no. As long as you're not necking it neat by the pint it seems to cause no stomach problems. Some have reported a sore throat or burnt mouth/tongue from heavy use or not diluting it well enough, but other than the dependency/addiction/withdrawal stuff, that's the only problems I've heard of. Does seem to be incredibly easy on the body as long as you don't take the piss with the stuff.

PS: Just saw your first post - the one that isn't there anymore. Have a read through the BLUA and Guidelines to avoid similar snips ;)

I get a sore throat if I cain it but the old belly is OK, I think....actually I had a cracking poo today!!!! :)
 
I think it's upset my stomach a few times and could be not helping my current attack of the runs. My stomach is very easily upset though.

I've started taking it at night again to knock myself out, this is never good as the wakeups are worse than the original getting to sleep problem, plus the dose I take makes me edgy in the morning so I take a bit more to cure that. The kind of sleep it gives me is making me feel much worse the next day than I did before and I have terrible dark rings round my eyes. Plus I keep taking some out of boredom too, having something to do would help.

Go to the doctor and get help for your insomnia.

Taking GBL to get to sleep regularly, as you seem to be aware, will cause serious problems for you quickly. The sooner you find another way of getting the sleep (even if you resort to another drug that is less addictive) the easier it will be to go through the withdrawls from your current dosing regime.

On the subject of the upset stomach; i get this a bit. Usually either when i've redosed once to often or when i take it on either an empty stomach and then don't drink enough water to dilute it or else when i get the GBL munchies and stuff myself full of crisps after taking the gbl (which is pretty obvious and stupid really).

I've got a docs appointment later this month, was thinking of asking for help then if I'm still having a problem. Of course if I can't leave the g alone then I'm gonna be a lot worse off by then. A few years ago I was given zopiclone because it's not addictive and it did absolutely fuck all.

Munchies on g though, oh my god! I'm trying to stick to loads of fruit and veg at the moment and last month managed really well in cutting out bread but last night I completely fiended over several cheese and pickle sandwiches. It always makes me want to stuff my face with the worst things! As opposed to tripping which makes me munch on salad.
