GBL Megathread - 2nd dose

Lol, Shambles, we were on the same wavelength with the two above posts!

Yeh, I gatherd that about the coffee once I took a massive mouthful and almost chucked everywhere!

How do you get it into work? Do you actually take the bottle in with you and dose? Thats an awsome idea!
 
^ Yup. It's generally called "Liquid Ecstasy" round these part, Wahslab. At least that's what the kiddies call it when they get it at festivals and the like - it's really not seen around here outside of such events. I think it's quite a misleading name myself, but can kinda see the similarities in terms of feeling generally perky and euphoric.

There is no comedown as such as far as I can tell, but the withdrawals are very real and worth remembering. If you use it regularly, it will hurt you. Also, the effects become less pronounced the more you use it. Even with a few days off I don't get much in the way of energy or euphoria anymore - I need to take at least a week off and possibly longer to get anywhere near the feeling that I used to from it, and it's not the kind of substance where you can just up your dose to get where you want to be.

Really is best kept to minimal use if possible, although that's certainly easier said than done sometimes :|.
 
I know that feeling, I'll try and abstain then. What are the WD's like?

Yeh, I like the little bit of euphoria that comes with it....I'd describe it as a feeling of well-being though as opposed to the emence euphoria of MD.
 
PS: I use a dropper bottle for carrying Guice when I'm out and about, Wahslab. Can't recommend it as a sensible course of action - especially for work - cos it makes it even easier to dose round the clock and that never ends well. You really will lose the magic faster than you ever thought possible :\.

PPS: Bloody board playing up again - "Method not implemented".

PPPS: Withdrawals are unpleasant, although I seem to have been lucky in escaping relatively unscathed. Others here have been luss fortnate and can tell you all about withdrawals, I'm sure.

PPPPS: I agree that "wellbeing" is probably a better word than "euphoric", although it can certainly become euphoric in the right situation. Try taking it with a ladyfriend ;).

Yeh, sex on the guice is awsome although, I have to be honest I fall into the category that shoot my load quicker when guiced up!!!!

How accurate are the dropper bottles? The last thing I want is to give myself a drop too much at work and passout infront of the computer!
 
^ Tsk! Can you two lovebirds not get a room or something 8);):D.

Wahslab: Dropper bottles are not ideal for measuring anything acurrately. However, I know that each full dropper squirt is equal to around 0.4ml so use that as a yardstick. For a fella who embraces the harm reduction ethos, I can be a bit sloppy sometimes :|.
 
haha i remember at glade festival a few years ago a group of bluelighters, mainly mods and ex mods at the time were sniffing lines of a mystery powder to try and work out what it was. then laughing at the idea of senior members of a harm reduction message board doing such a thing :D

ive enjoyed the delights on several occasions.

although thought i had OD'd on mystery powder at a Reading but it was just a panic attack that the medium-heavy trip coming on was going to lead to death lol

The website I order my "poweful alloy cleaner" from has agreed to reship my order using priority airmail at no extra cost, so that it gets here before the post service shuts down for Christmas. I thought it was very decent of them.
 
i get super kinky on the stuff so i like to use when the missus is round just before we go to bed :D
i think its best use is at nightime to get me to sleep
 
I find that if I use it for sleep I generally wake up when it wears off and have trouble getting back to sleep.

Also using it for sleep is probably not the best idea if you want to avoid getting addicted.

Got my 250 mls today. I'm gonna leave it a while cos I've loads of work to do for college and I haven't done a bit.:| Last night we got stoned, listened to drum n bass and I bet my housemates at draughts (cos I can't play chess:))


I did 5pill a drop on my hand though, and got a bit of a red mark. 5eriously ha5 nobody experienced any 5tomach problem5 from u5ing it? I'm afraid that it i5 5lowly and 5urely eroding my in5ide5:\ Although fear alone i5n't enough 2 make me 5top:)

I know mixing GBL with any central nervous system depressants is dangerous, but there are some people that manage to do it, carefully, without coming to any harm (I noticed that Shambles claims to have combined GBL with other depressants, so maybe he could give me some advice?).

Say you were on 60mg of methadone per day as part of a maintenance treatment and needed to take 60mg on top illicit methadone (a total of 120mg) for a very mild and subtle high. When and how would you dose the GBL so that you greatly minimise the chances of overdosing?

My normal dose of GBL is 3ml (due to a naturally high tolerance - it is not adulterated or diluted in any way as I get it from the same vendor all of you guys get it from - you know who). I would like to try and get to the right (safe) dose after as few attempts as possible whilst minimising the risk of overdosing and killing myself, if this is at all possible. Would I start off by just taking say half the dose, 1.5ml, 20 mins before the methadone peaks which would be 3h40min after taking the methadone (since it takes about 20 mins for the GBL to peak and 4 hours for the methadone to peak as well) and then increase the GBL after the effects of the GBL have completely worn off by 0.25ml until I reach the desired dose?

I would also be taking 60mg DXM and 1L about 2h after taking the methadone, to attenuate the buildup of tolerance of the methadone and for slight potentiation/synergy as a substitute for a benzodiazepine, which would be my drug of choice to combine with the methadone, for the profound synergy.
