Hopefully I put this in the right section, if not feel free to move it. I just had gastric bypass 2 days ago and was sent home yesterday. Before my surgery I was on Concerta but had to switch to something instant release since I can no longer take extended release pills. I was on adderall for about a week before my surgery and I had no bad side effects. The Dr. said it was fine to take it and never said I couldn't. So this is the first time in a few days I took adderall and now I have palpitations from it post op. Is it because the change of my stomach? Has anyone else been through this or has some information on it? If it gets bad enough I will inform the Dr. Also took hydromorphone for pain this morning so not sure why I'm having this side effects all of sudden. Thanks for your replies!
