Gasoline - First Time - Bad

A friend of mine was/is an avid sniffer of gasoline. He sniffed a lot, and constantly asked me to sniff with him. I thought sniffing gasoline was pretty pointless, because the high only lasted for 5 minutes, but eventually I jumped aboard and agreed to sniff with him.

We went to his boat, and started sniffing. I felt pretty good, but I didn't feel any of the effects he said he was having, so I sniffed hard for about 20-40 seconds or so. Then everything became blurred, and my consciousness/mind got limited to my point of view (in a way. Hard to explain.). He started laughing, and I laughed with him. Suddenly a strong sense of deja vu rushed over me, and I told him that it was "beginning". He kept laughing, and I had the the feeling that I was about to wake up at the end of the deja vu, but I *knew* I was awake, so I was afraid where I'd wake up. I was terrified. I jumped to land and tried to get out of the deja vu rut, but in any direction I moved, the deja vu feeling kept following me. I kept saying it was beginning to my friend, but he was just laughing. He laughed so hard he almost fell into the water.

Anyways, at the end of the session I was shaking. I was trembling with fear.

Sniffing gasoline isn't bad cause of the possible effects you can get while on it, but it's physically bad. Never, ever sniff gasoline.
 
Hmmm, I always wondered what that would be like after I saw love liza... Sounds pretty intense... Not for me, already fucked my brain up enough with duster. :(
 
Nah, never do it. It's a complete waste. You also end up with a very, very dry mouth for several hours, reek of gasoline and feel sleepy.
 
You know, you'd think some things would just be too stupid for people to actually attempt, and then you read things like this...
 
Couple of friends of mine were sniffing in the outhouse for about 3 hours, or so. They were totally wasted, claiming to see things etc etc.

1 of those friends even experienced hallucinations an hour or so after the session. He was on the phone with a friend, and asked him what "he had done". Apparently, a friend of my friend called him and said that "he'd done something." My friend was totally gone.
 
Yeah. Sniffing gasoline is insanely stupid. I assume doing heroin for a year is less dangerous than sniffing.
 
i like your work on dA but this is a really pathetic trip report, you're better than this.
 
It's simply an informative trip report, Allcity. And thank you for the compliment.

I will certainly not repeat this. I do not even condone it. I keep telling my friend to stop sniffing that shit, but he won't listen. Peer pressure got the best of me..
 
I like the smell of gasoline when filling up the tank but I would never huff it.Very dangerous.

One will pretty much repeat what was said on this topic before:

As for your friends one would simply tell them huffing gasoline is a good way to get an organic affective disorder. One has worked with persons who have developed serious mental problems as a result of repeated inhalation of gasoline. There is really no high from this apart from actual damage to the brain and other organs. While one would not advocate people break the law… one would probably direct them to consider about any other form of sobriety, high, inebriation, or intoxication before even considering taking a single huff of gasoline. While it is cheap and readily available, it is probably the most likely of any agent out there to really A) Kill You, B) Promote Development of a Severe Mental Illness, or C) Really Do Serious Damage to Your Body.

Best to not even experiment with this one… save your gas for driving.

While I generally refrain from telling people what choices to make, in the case of gasoline huffing I will strait out tell folks to skip at all costs. Try to talk to your friends about this as soon as possible and see if you can encourage them to stop sooner rather than later.

Don't use heroin as a benchmark for all that is evil with drugs.

You can take heroin for 50 years and apart from physical withdrawals you won't do any psychological damage to your body (if taking orally or sublingually or if you are fastidious about your needle care).

A better comparison/benchmark would be say alcohol verse petrol.
 
might as well go eat random poisen berries if ur gonna do that,cheers for the report always wondered the feeling u get from it!
 
i think we're done here, this is too short, and gasoline is for the car only. big fat duh.
