Gas and cigarettes

Oklahoma City, OK

gas: $2.75

cigs: $4.00-$6.50, the brand I usually buy is $5.75 (it's a good thing I don't smoke that much)
 
Toronto, gas is sitting at around $1 a litre, and because of the god damned HST smokes are now $11.30 a pack.
 
Memphis ,TN
gas is $2.20 a gallon I think..
Cigarettes are $4-5.50+ almost $6 for Newports so I switched to Kools ,which are about $4 a pack.
In Northern Ark..
gas is 50 cents more than in Memphis normally
Cigs are $5+ becasue of a state tax recently added to cigarettes,but most people here drive the hour or less to Missouri where cigs are $1 or sopack cheaper or more,as is the beer and booze,and gas is cheaper there as well..The poor rural people in Arkansas who make shit per hour pay $6+ for a pack of cigs and $3+ for gas..and they are lucky there to make $10 an hour ,as their are few factories their,only poultry processing and mexicans moved in there 10 years ago and are willing to work for less than $10 an hour ,so you are fucked in the sticks of Ark. unless you have a college degree and then you might be working at a store for $7 or 8 an hour,unless you are a doctor ,phamracist or lawyer,banker or bring in drugs from Texas/Mexico border area and are not killed by local mexican gangsthere you are gonna be poor..
I have family in rural North Central Arkansas,and I am glad Memphis pays better,although not as good as some places farther north or in Cali,etc..but the cost of living in Memphis is lower than Cali and Chicago,etc.

Ya I went to Canada and the best part is they hide the cigarettes so you cant see what you want to buy. I had to ask the guy to pick one for me. I got Peter Jacksons LOL

cigs - 5.01 (pall mall cheapest kind i aint payin 8 bucks for a pack of marlboros

for real $1.12/gallon in canada? damn thats cheap today i paid $3.20/gallon

and i dont smoke cigarettes but boxes of swishers and most other rillos are like 4bucks a box, they used to be 2.50/box

This thread is pretty interesting, we should keep it going so we can build up a picture of price rises:

so for me today:
Petrol:
£1.37 / litre ($2.23)

Smokes:
£3.39 for ten!!!! ($5.51)

I didn't think the prices could *keep* on rising, but they have!
 
in NJ.

Cigarettes- At a wallgreens I'll pay $7.40 a pack, at a liquor store or bodega I'll pay $9

gas has hit $4
 
NYC depending on where you buy them:

Gas:$4

Cigs:9.25 pack of newports, Red's where going for 9.75.

Crazy to see what gas used to be when this thread was started.

In ireland gas is about 1.40 per litre which I think is about 2 dollars or 220?
A 10 pack of regal filters cost 3.70 which is about 6 dollars I think... Just in case anyone would be interested

Edit - holy shit you guys are pricing by the gallon? You lucky motherfuckers!!
