Gas and cigarettes

hahahaha its funny to see the rising price of cigs ever since this thread started (2005). it has almost tripled since then!

im from chicago.........

gas is at $2.59 a gallon
smokes anywhere from $7.80 to $9.75 in the city....

yea it sux
 
Us around here (I live right on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota) bitch about cigarettes going up over 4 dollars, lol. Doesn't seem so bad compared to what y'all are paying on the east coast.

Gas: 2.75/gal
Cigs: 7.00 per pack

You can get cartons of marlbs, camels, newports, etc. at a nearby native american reservation for 45.00, 25.00 for generics, and 10.00 for native brands.
 
Milwaukee WI area:

Gas: averages around $2.65
Cigarettes: $5-9 depending on how fancy you want to get ;)

i was looking back on the last pages around here we got some old threads back there. feel free to resurrect any you may find of intrest. i like looking thru all the deleted post and sourcing threads.

gas... 2.79 for regular
camel's are $5.01 at my regular store
but I have a carton purchased duty free in Dubai at the moment, $16
 
Yeah, prices are ridiculous in Northeastern states for cigs. I was on a roadtrip, driving on the Jersey Turnpike, stopped at a gas station for a pack of cigs, and it was around $9.something. Ridiculous.

$5.05 for Newport 100's. Tobacco state my ass..
 
I was in North Carolina last week for the 4th and was so happy to be paying $6/pack

Manhattan NYC

Gas: $2.95 to $3.15

Cigarettes: $10.95 to $12.95 depending on location and type of store (chain pharmacies are usually the cheapest)

. Gonna either find a carton hookup down south or quit soon because I paid $13 for a pack of Newports yesterday here. So you go into a spot to get a pack of cigs, a bottle of water and a blunt , pay with a $20, and ur walking out with pocket change . ridiculous

Just curious, do you think people buy cartons of ciggs from areas where its cheap (like here in Cali) and take them up east and sell them for profit? Im sure that'd be illegal, but seems like a good way to make money, hah. Ill buy some gallons of gas off of you people with gas under 2.50$..lol
 
Hey guys, i'm in the uk:

Petrol is about £1.20 / litre, there are 4.5litres in 1 gallon so £5.40 / gallon (thats $8.26 / gallon according to xe.com)

Smokes:
£3.00 ($4.59) for 10
£5.50-6.00 ($8.41-9.18 ) for 20.

so as you can see we have really high prices on fuel, so you guys should concider yourselves lucky :P
