no lie, i'm dreading this. after i read it, i had nightmares. repeating nightmares, from when i finished the book up until just recently. the imagery is so vivid. i thought i was going to throw up when i first read it.

I thought HBO promised 2 more book series? Book 3 will definitely come out. If people like book 1, they will definitely like 2 and 3. I'll be so disappointed if they get to 2 and say "well, that was great. No more guys." lol That would be such a douche move.

And after GRRM shows the fanbase that he's taken "anyone can die" and turn it up to 11, we'll get the last episode of season 3. If I was going to do it, I'd have a fake credit roll, which would quickly fade back to Westeros. In which our pathetic Frey is wandering in dark woods, on his errand. He's with a few others, allied to house Frey, although one of them is quickly portrayed to be a mere lad, innocent of the events of the Red Wedding. And then, they are all quickly captured in a scene almost as confusing to us viewers as it is to the Frey leader, he is lead forward, as a captive, his allies, also captured, just behind him. He meets the leader of the Brotherhood Without Banners, clad in a black cape and hood. And as the leader pulls back the hood, we see, disfigured from the fatal injury and the days in the river, Lady Stoneheart. The gallows are in the background. She passes judgement on all of them: Death. Then, fade to black.

The Red Wedding is such a kick in the balls that I think a fair number of people are going to bail afterwards. Actually, I don't think GRRM himself has recovered, as the succeeding two books aren't nearly as good as their predecessors, IMO.

yeah but that's not the same. Dragon Boobs was like valhallah i am cominggggggg and book 5 ending is kind of setting itself up to be another brick shitter for tv only fandom. they could handle ned + dragon boobs, but then what are they going to do if you know nothing dies?

Not finished book #5 yet, but I was thinking the Winterfell ghost was the White Lady (that is what they called her, right? I forget...been 6ish years since I read it). I wonder if they are going to make Lady Caitlin a big part of book #6 and a reason why the 'good' win? Maybe? I was really surprised by the Red Wedding too. Even JK Rowling said she cried when she killed off characters, so I am surprised at how GRRM kills off his characters like it's nothing, but I guess it's like when you were a kid and your parents had to remind you that it's not real.

i wasn't upset when Fred Weasley died, but I cried like a child when Hedwig died. maybe it's more important if you care about them? I don't know.

it's monday...Season 2 premier is sunday. I wish I could go into a mini coma and wake up when it airs. After season 1 I went out and bought the 1 st 2 books. I am now on book 4 of 5. I have also watched the whole 1st season about 5 or 6 times through. I am absolutely captivated by this awesome series.The books are a genre all it's own. I love that George R.R.Martin not only is one of the executive producers,he wrote episode 8 or 9(i think-i should know as many times as i have seen it).Plus HBO has some awesome directors from past hit HBO series. HBO always delivers.I should end this post with .....I HBO.
