I picked up first try scorer last night with Gasneir, The Warriors under 20's to win and St George to win. A profit of about $200. I'm happy with that but would be far happier with your massive win!!!
 
Wasn't sure what happened with the draw but it paid out, luckily... Heading interstate for a friends wedding so I guess I'll get him something better than a Sam's Warehouse voucher now...lol
 
Eventhough I really have a bad history of gambling in the past, I don't neccessarily agree with the "limiting of what people are allowed to put through a machine". I think people should be allowed to gamble what they want to gamble, but at the same time, I don't think ATM's should be in venues (especially when alcohol is involved with the pokies too), and I reckon there should be a set large percentage of machines in every venue which have to have alot lower maximum bet limit, so people can't possibly lose their money as fast.
 
I was with someone buying tickets from the ticketmaster outlet at Manly Leagues on the weekend when I noticed this 'Jaws' themed gaming machine.

So I loaded $20 into and long story short I pulled some kind of feature deal and ended up walking out with $1100.

There were some hard core gamblers playing the same thing on both my left and right hand side and both of them were giving me the most satanic evil eye possible. To them I was just some amateur that swooped in on some treasure that I didn't deserve.

Was kind off funny, plus I won some money - so it was a good time.
 
You've probably got a better chance of coming out on top with a decent win on a random punt on the pokies than if you play consistently. I feel the same with the lottery. They say you've got to be in it to win it but if you're always in it and never win it... Plus if you're always in it you start betting more and making riskier bets.

I think the always doubling your bet on roulette is bound to pay off but you need the capital to make it work.
 
Have to agree about the lottery. I only go in the big draw.! Only want one million so figure i have a better chance of getting it.

And a big plus one to no atms at pokie venues. I remember finding a mate shaking an atm one night as it wouldnt give him money.

He had already emptied his account into the pokies and blown a weeks wages.

If I caught you stealing chips from me or my companions I would stab your hands to the card table. You would pray that the eye in the sky had dealt with you instead.

Satanic evil eye haha. This is something I've never done myself, but have always found it funny when people have the shits over someone else "winning". Its a fkn poker machine, what do they expect. Plus i'd always rather anyone to actually win something rather than the government :)

Yup I used to get angry when I couldn't take any more money out of my account at times, even if I had blown 300 bucks in a night :\
