It's codeine linctus, so yes you can get high off it.
According to drugs.com, it's 15mg per 5mL. Usual recreational codeine doses for somebody who doesn't have any opiate tolerance are 30-90mg, sometimes more depending on your body's ability to turn codeine into morphine.

Its spelled "Galcodine" & it contains codeine phosphate so yes, you can get high on Codeine. If your tolerant to opiates you may not really be able to get too high from it. I can't tell you how much to take because I don't know your tolerance but I know it contains 15mg per 5ml.

If 300mg is your dose of choice, that converts to 100mL of the liquid.

100mL would be half the bottle, if you take the whole bottle that would be 600mg of codeine.
Mix it with any soft drink, that will help the codeine get into your system faster as well. I also recommend taking a first-generation antihistamine such as diphenhydramine (Benadryl), promethazine, doxylamine, etc. when you consume your codeine drink, as it will help out the effects of the codeine and reduce the itching.

I'm trying to open the fucking bottle 
I cant even open it I pushing the lid down very hard and twisting it wont want to come gonna go mad at it lol
I bit the lid off and theres some fucked up hard plastic thing over it How do I get that off?

Yes, that is a general reaction to something tasting really sour. Wash it down with a lot of water or some Sprite or 7-Up and you'll be fine.

How much did you take? If your tolerance was 300mg I would have actually of suggested 400mg to get a little higher. But you've already taken it and there is no reason to redose. That will be a waste if you do unless its only been like 15 minutes.

If you take promethazine with it, do NOT take it until the codeine is fully acting, promethazine is a CYP-P450-2D6 inhibitor (or substrate, forgot which, maybe both) and it will DEFINATELY block conversion of codeine to morphine, you get more sedation but far less euphoria thus.
Taking it after the codeine has kicked in, you will gain the beneficial effect of both drugs.
Wouldn't drink the full bottle, 500mg is the absolute maximum of codeine you can convert, so a 600ml bottle, you WILL have 100mg left for future use if you choose to save that last bit, and if you drink the full bottle, you WILL waste that 100mg.
All it will do, after that 500mg is increase histamine release and make you itch more.

That dosage ceiling varies between people greatly, but the generally accepted ceiling is 400-500mg.

My ceiling dose would probably be 400mg. I can't get any higher when I get past that but its been awhile since I've taken Codeine. I mean its been a long time since I've been able to just high on Codeine.
Just drunk the rest of the bottle does anyone know why it upsets my stomach? The last time I took it I felt sick mostly the whole time through it and felt like shit and I think it's gonna be the same this time? Is it because i'm sitting on an empty stomach and is there a way to stop it?

It may make you feel sick because it is a nasty ass sweet and flavoured syrup. Similar to how taking DXM in the form of robitussin can make many people sick to their stomach, from chugging all that cough syrup.
