I have taken these before and i seemed really laid back and like funny .. its kind of like the sillyness of a weed high.. but i was wondering .. can u get addicted to these?
 
If you take gabapentin therapeutically every day, you get physically addicted to it, so yes.

However, I've found with my own gabapentin use that the recreational effects have diminishing returns, and if I get high on it two days in a row I have to wait 2+ weeks to be able to feel them again. Keep in mind I also have to take 5+grams to feel it since I used them therapeutically for about a year, ending not too long ago. YMMV
 
Withdrawals are very mild but yes you can become dependent. Most withdrawals are psychological. Its not so much addictive like you feel the need to take more and more but its just something you can become dependent on if you've been taking for a long time, just like most psychotropic drugs.
 
I am on 300mg 4x daily. I have read in the past that taking more than 200-300mg at a time will not be effective due to incomplete absorption. Would I get much benefit in trying to increase to 400mg 4x a day or 600mg 4x a day? I am using it to stabilize moods and help out with some anxiety.

These threads are impossible to sift through now. Whoever opted to use this format should be shot in the head. When scrolling down in forums, its very difficult to read easily the names of the threads. Basic graphic design issue. What the fuck. And typing into this is like typing into a cold, lifeless receptacle, it fucking sucks. Everything about this format doesn't make sense. Was this necessary in changing the server, to make Bluelight 'cute' and unusable. You fucking slags. It looks horrible.
 
I was about to change it back but then you called me a slag. I'm sorry that you have so much experience with cold, lifeless receptacles, hopefully the gabapentin helps that.

If you'd spend as much time reading the Support forum as you've taken to bitch about the site skin, you'd know exactly why the server was upgraded and why things look different. Get over yourself.

And try searching for an answer instead of bumping an ancient thread.

Janja, if you do have a question about gabapentin that you would like us to answer, please make a new thread (that's the way we try to have things work around here - take a look at the "State of BDD" sticky) and ask your question politely, without attacking the site in such a disrespectful manner. It doesn't particularly make anyone want to help you when you insult us in that way! Also, as dokomo mentioned there is a thread in the Support forum which explains the reasons why Bl had to be upgraded. It has nothing to do with making it "cute" and there was no choice over what skin we now have.
