Gabapentin...worth it or waste of time?

I was on Erowid and saw people rec enjoyin gabapentin?! Anywhere from 600 mgs to 4,800 mgs. I've been on 1,200 for 3+ yrs and never got a "high" off of it.
Anyway I have 2 questions:
Have you ever got high off of gabapentin? What was your tolerance? Dosage? Trip?
And question 2, for sake of HR, how much do you guesstimate I could take to feel something without OD'ing?
If it matters, I always have a high tolerance to meds, even ones I've never taken. Ugh. But especially opiates and benzos. Crazy high tolerancs to them. Anyway ty!
 
no i never got high off gabapentin. it's not worth it imo. i'd rather do dope and benos and gbl and mxe. so i dont have an guesstimate about how much one would take wo ODing - plus, that sounds like a bad risk to take and remember mileage may vary, so it's kinda of a very difficult question to answer.
 
I've done everything from IV heroin or insufflation oxymorphone to LSD and very pure ecstasy, or since we're speaking of a GABAergic drug, temazepam <3.

That aside, I still consider gabapentin enjoyable. Provides euphoria, makes me sociable, gives everything a "glow" should I call it, and gives a pleasant body (kinda dissociative-like) high. Woke up the next early morning after and the effects of gabapentin were still strong. I considered it be an "afterglow"
 
Gabapentin works on neuropathic pain; I suspect it'll "trick you into feeling good" so to say..

That said, I want to get my doc to Rx me these next time I go see him. Can't hurt...

Well, I figured wth! After seein a few enjoyin 'em here and on Eriwod I decided to try it.
I started with my dose of 1,200 x's 2 for 2,400 mgs. Took quite awhile, hour or so, to notice a mood change...in a good way. Of course bein the addict I am, I wanted to explore further after lookin up maximum safe dosage. Anyway, I took another 1,200 mgs. I actually feel warm, fuzzy and happy without the opiate "messiness". You know slurrin, noddin, obvious to others, etc. I just feel "good". :)
And as an added bonus my tooth ache is gone! It had me near tears when I woke up and either I found a new love ;) or it's mind-over-matter. Either way, I feel good!

my first 2 times were pretty awesome of how social I was but now it just does nothing... and when I mixed it with some weed I felt very dizzy and ended up falling asleep.
P.s=There's better drugs to spend money on.

I get these free, 120 a month ;)
Believe me, I only buy alprazolam and opiates lol. It's just everyone is "dry" right now. Really sucks!
 
I have a high tolerance to benzo's and Im assuming since they both work on the GABA receptors they could be cross-tolerant? Whether they are or they aren't, I have never been able to get any recreational value from them. However, they have helped me relax a bit as well as sleep when going through benzo and opiate withdrawal.
 
i enjoy it a lot. i dose between 4,000 and 8,000 but that was when i did it way too much, i don't have it anymore but i used to have a bunch of full bottles of 600mg. my first dose was 2,000 and it was great. i rapidly dosed up from that, trying 6 grams the next day, then 8. i wouldn't recommend dosing up too regularly though, it made me irritable after a while and it took me a bit to recover from taking it so much. you could try doing 2 grams after taking a tolerance break and see if you feel that.
 
For some reason i only seem to enjoy gabapentine in combination of Methadone.

It works as a huge potentiater for Methadone, but wierdly not soo much other opiates for me.
