Gabapentin for Opiate withdrawal and RLS?

How well would gabapentin knock out opiate withdrawal. I know it deals with nerve pain and is a CNS depressant. Will it remove restless legs? Thanks in advance I appreciate it.

It helps a little but clonidine even at 50mcg helped me way more with the RLS, see if you can get like clonidine prescription, it's a blood pressure med but also helps a lot with withdrawal.

I'm just on the upswing of an oxy/mophene detox after 6+ months of consistent opiate use and I feel so happy I did it, never want to go back.
