UTSE and saw alot of people have mixed. I'm opiate tolerant and have taken(60 mg) but have never used gabapentin. Have 1 600mg tablet and want to try it out, should i break it in half(300mg) for a good dose? Thanks

Ok don't bump your own thread unless it goes off the first page cause it gets abit annoying if everyone does it.

If you usually take 80mg's of hydrocodone i would say take 50mg's of hydrocodone and wait a hour then take the 600mg gabapentin pill. Gabapentin can add to the noddy effects of opiates alot so you don't want to go overboard as it's better to be safe then sorry. It's also VERY important that you always take gabapentin AFTER you take the hydrocodone because if you take the gabapentin beforehand it can lower the bioavailability of the hydrocodone. But if you wait like a hour then take the gabapentin the hydrocodone will raise the bioavailability of the gabapentin by about 15%.

Ive never taken hydrocodone but i have taken gabapentin with codeine, demerol, oxycodone, morphine, hydromorphone and fentanyl. Gabapentin goes great with most opiates especially morphine and ive spent hours nodding on that combo.

Enjoy but don't overdoit.

So even though I've never taken gabapentin, I should take the whole thing? Yea, I want to get fucked up, but I don't want to just fall asleep. Thanks though, your info is greatly appreciated.

600mg's at once is not that much. But so you don't wanna pass out you could just take half at first. It takes about 2 hours for gabapentin to kick in for me so don't think it's not gonna work because you don't feel anything in a hour.
