G Question

I want to know the ratio of GHB powder to liquid. How much water/liquid would I add to 100g of powder? Would it be 1000ml or just 100ml. I'm pretty sure it is just 100 because then 1g/g would equal 1ml of liquid. I just want to be sure before I do it.
Any info is appreciated.

I suggest mixing to make a solution of 1000ml total. That way easier to manage and less chance of over dosing. at least if its 1litre then sum1 can accidentally take a swig and not die. unless u are sure you'll be measuring out extremely carefully and not letting the bottle out of your sight at any time.
1000ml will be 1gram GHB to 10ml water.
use food colouring aswell to 'mark' your G solution.

Leave it as powder! I alway do. Makes it much easier to carry around with you (small baggies of powder much easier than bottles of liquid) and you can dose it more exactly if you have electric scales (which are a very worthwhile investment if you plan on using GHB much). Electric scales start at about US$70 for 0.1 gram accurate models, I can recommend http://www.head-shop.com/scales_and_balances.htm as a place to shop.

Another G question:
If someone were using a G making kit that contained:
120 ml. of gamma-Butyrolactone (99.9+%)
63 grams of Sodium Hydroxide (99.9+%)
how much G in mL/g would be produced?

Assuming you use one of the powder making recipes you'd get about 250 grams of powder I think. But I don't know for sure as I buy mine ready made. More expensive I know. Perhaps I should consider making it myself....

Sorry, make that 195 grams as possible yield. I should pay more attention! But perhaps we should draw this discussion to a close before some misguided fool actually tries to make the stuff!!!

120mls is equal to 135grams of NAGHB.
As far as the liquid=potency it all depends how much water you add throughout the reaction.

Sorry Harry and badassjessejames, but my calculations give me 164 g of NaGHB powder per 120 ml of GBL.
(Yes I know this is over a month old, but what the hell - it may help the person who originally posted). If you want me to go through the calculation process in a post, just say the word.

Here we go:
Density of gbl is 1.1441. So 120 ml is equal to 120*1.1441= 137.292 grams. Molmass of gbl is 86.0902.
137.292/86.0902 = 1.59
Molmass of NaOH is 39.99707.
39.99707 * 1.59 = 63.5953413
So 63.595 grams of NaOH will react with 137.292 GRAMS or 120 ML GBL.
THEORETICALLY!!
I think you need a little less NaOH in the kitchen synthesis because a part of the gbl will evaporate through heating before it's able to react.
