Furosemide: Any good?

I have a few 20mg tabs of Furosemide and I was wounderinf if they were any good to take? If so what do they do/what are they're effects?
 
oh, you must not have wikipedia on your internet. let me help you out. it is a diuretic. does not sound recreational in any way.
