So, post any interesting anecdotes or observations about interesting/funny/weird/scary ect. I've only done LSD so that where my knowledge is. Umm.. I don't want to discriminate or anything but if we could refrain from posting things like "One time I took pcp and I felt like I could/was flying." (just obvious or "commonplace drug knowledge" I would appreciate it.

So what inspired me to make this:

I took about 3 hits of acid once and when I was riding it up to the peak, probably about half way there me and my friend started walking up a hill to his parents in the dark. I felt pretty normal still and then I stepped on one of those cushythick fleece blankets and I remember feeling like my entire leg had melted under me. It wasn't scary but it was quite stimulating. I laughed about it and kept walking.

But yeah, weird physical feelings due to psychoactives use. :)

My body often feels wet on psychedelics when it is not... does anyone else get this? I used to get a bit concerned about it but learned to just go along with the experience and keep the vibes happy :)

Weed, weird and scary. I now sort of understand it better, but the first time I smoked it, I had no idea it was coming.

Apart from the major dissociation, I was getting mixed messages from various nerve signals. tongue thought it was in my nose. My lips were behind my eyelids. Stuff like that. A lot of it was unpleasant to the point of being physically painful.

i took my first tab of lsd on sunday at a festival and believed for the whole trip that i was 2 different people. when i was myself i was scared and quiet but when i was the other guy i was crazy and good craic...

Not to be a flag raiser or paranoid. But... that sounds a bit like schizophrenia. (which LSD can bring up in people. I'm concerned because that's a pretty small does to have such a weird experience) If your family has any history of mental illness I think you should possibly double think trying LSD again. That Or the tab might have been something else.Did you get it from someone you KNOW you can trust?

aside from that Irish people trying LSD for the first time in 2011 yeah! high five.

Yes! Often while tripping my skin would feel really moist. When I first realized it happening, I was uncomfortable, but I've come to accept it.

I also yawn a ridiculous amount on psychedelics, especially during the come up. I always found that weird. My friend and I tried finding the answer to why via the internet, but there was no one definitive answer.

i yawn a lot on psyches because it feels good, allows me to stretch my face, roll my eyes back, and have a brain-gasm... not to mention the immense increase in color swirls after all that oxygen floods my blood.

I'll go for a super crazy one. I rarely ever get weird or paranoid on trips but well you'll see I asked for it. I took around 1,000 mgs of Mescaline and was having a grand ole time, was smoking a ton of buddha and decided it was time to blast off. Right before I packed the Dimitri, I ripped the shit out of the bong to clear the bowl and ended up getting a massive hit. It got me super stoned for a good minute which is when I repacked some buddha and poured...alright dumped(by accident) some DMT into the bowl. I was like "Awww fuck its going to take me a solid minute to get the right amount of DMT out...fuck it!"and so I just ripped it. I thought it was probably no more than 100 mgs but was probably more like 150 atleast. Both ridiculous doses. :! Anyways I came up hard and sent a solid 15 minutes sitting on the floor fighting back and forth with my mind because I had somehow believed my mind was being amplified like a loudspeaker to the world. I kept thinking "Shit that was to much DMT i'll need help" then I would get super paranoid realizing I said I need help and thinking people could hear it and would come help me. After a few minutes, I started coming down and thought "Sitting on the floor, thinking people can hear your thoughts, god damn freak! =D", Happened years ago. Thats probably the most out of this world and pretty much the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

Yeah, this has happened to me quite a few times. I cant tell if im wet, or just cold, my clothes feel damp, etc. Its even happened to me being extremely high before (cannabis.)

probably the 1st 3 to 4 times i tripped i felt like i shit my pants really badly but i didnt and id check my self multiple times during the trips its odd hadnt happened to me in a very long time though, i yawn all the time on psyches aswel

I have had that same feeling and I have also heard this same story from numerous people. It's a weird notion that you think you have shit yourself. I wonder what that "Illusion" is and what it's telling us? :)

Schizophrenia does not involve multiple personalities, that is a common misconception. From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizophrenia

"Schizophrenia is a mental disorder characterized by a disintegration of thought processes and of emotional responsiveness. It most commonly manifests as auditory hallucinations, paranoid or bizarre delusions, or disorganized speech and thinking, and it is accompanied by significant social or occupational dysfunction."

However, I agree that if I experienced something that intense and potentially indicative of some kind of psychological/neurochemical as a result of taking LSD I might think twice about taking it again.

Hmm it is common knowledge that some drugs can mimic schizophrenia in humans whilst you are under the influence. Both ketamine and methoxetamine can do this, and I have experienced it. However, the schizophrenia only lasts as long as the drug experience lasts, in the same way that you're only tripping whilst the LSD is in your system.

I've heard of weirder things at dosages as low as 4 hits but at 1 that is certainly quite bizarre. And the neurological break downs are characteristic of severe chronic prolonged schizophrenia.

I'm pretty sure I am schizophrenic haha there are multiple voices in my head that talk to me and I see shadow people sometimes always running, I don't know why they run. and whenever people laugh around me I feel like they are laughing at me regardless of what I am doing. al lot of the time I "drop out" of reality and while my body continues its normal schedule; and I'll snap back to reality a while later wondering what the hell happened. It's kind of like doubly zoning out, I zone out from zoning out. As well as other quite indicative signs of schizophrenia. Haha, but the last time I felt totally clear was when I did acid. It's kind of funny how LSD can trigger psychosis and help "cure" it as well.

I guess that qualifies as a funny feeling. at least to me it is.
