Two nights ago I started on dexamphetamine again. I can't remember how long I'd been off, but it was more than a month and a half, and I've barely been using MD so my tolerance was down. I drank a mixture of baking powder and water about 50 minutes before taking the dexamphetamine because I heard it potentiates it, then at about 3:40 in the afternoon I took 40mg of dexamphetamine. I got home and at about 5 o'clock I took another 10mg. I didn't feel it for a while, so I sniffed another maybe half an hour later. Then of course they both hit me at the same time, and I was fucking wired. For the euphoria and body high dex gave me when I first started out, it was a bit dead, but I remember just sitting on the sofa rolling around a bit and grunting. It wasn't proper bad or anything, but it's probably the most wired I've ever been.
Anyway, when it started to wear off and I was in the space between being fucked and being on a proper comedown, I was upstairs lying on my bed looking at the ceiling. Green spirals started appearing on the pattern, and whenever I would look at my trackies there'd be some areas that had little green pinpoints, and if I unfocused my eyes I would see a group of green spinning disks (which I'm very used to at this point because I see it a lot when I'm hallucinating from MD or pills). I thought these were different to the usual psychotic hallucinations I get after being on speed. These were pills that are prescribed to me and that I pick up from the pharmacy myself so it was definitely just pure dexamphetamne.
My question is why was I hallucinating in that way? I know you get that from MDMA because one of it's metabolites is MDA, which is slightly psychedelic. I don't know how dexamphetamine is metabolised so I was going to ask if it turns into a different drug in your body, one that would make me hallucinate? I looked online but I can't really find much, just the hormones it triggers.
And my second question, which at this point is pointless asking, but is taking MDMA during a speed comedown safe? I took 50mg of dex at about 2 and I just had about 0.3 of MD at 9. Thought I should ask before I do anymore.
