Full disclosure- I am a journalist!

Hey everyone
I want to be upfront with what I'm doing on here—my name is Peter and I am a journalist! I am not on here to trap anyone into saying anything they'll regret, I believe in harm reduction and risk minimization, and I want to talk to some people about their stories, using drugs and dealing with the cops and social services. The news outlet I work for is very left leaning, all about supporting legalisation and I genuinely hope I can write things which will help bring about a society which is safer for everyone.

Welcome! It's always nice to see journalists interested in painting a more fair and nuanced picture of drug users and drug culture.

Well welcome, Snoopus! I hope you have luck on your endeavors to find stories, I can tell you that from what I can remember of others' stories, you'll have a lot of data to pick through if you survey Bluelight. I'm glad you as well believe in Harm Reduction, as it's a wonderful alternative to the war on drugs. I wish you luck in bringing the society you wish for, and if I can make a reccomendation, I suggest you start your search with a post in the "Drug Studies" sub-section, at " http://bluelight.org/vb/forums/180-Drug-Studies ". You can request whatever you want from people and they'll answer if they so please.
