well i was inspired to write this one after walking to one of my classes, smoking a cigarette, and hearing to quite preppy boys behind me talk about how smoking is bad, etc... and they mentioned something about 'living an alternative lifestyle' ... i was like wtf - i was about to turn around and say 'yeah i can hear every word you're saying' but rather i didnt and i just let it go, figuring these people mean absolute SHIT to me and they're not worth anything... however i did manage to write a little something about it....

and look into the eyes of conformity

i am a unicorn
i have experienced things
seen things
know things

things you cannot even dream of
experiences you cannot even fathom
i know i live my life
the way i choose
i have stood up against the masses
and told my story
spoken my words
though somewhat afraid
i did it anyway
i did it
for me.
but you
you cannot do a thing
without consulting others first
because you're too afraid
too weak
to be unique
i pity you.
you laugh behind my back
but i laugh in your face
everything i do that you cannot do
is an insult to your existence.
so i go about my life
and you go about yours
but my existence makes a statement.
yours
is just a reflection
of the masses
conformity.
i played that game,
but i dropped out
by choice
becaue i realized things you never will.
i saw the superficiality of it
and i wanted to dive deeper into life.
so i did -
i still am.
and i wont let anyone stop me
not you
not your words
no one.
fuck your game

i'm finished with it.

Absolutley beautiful. It's like you were taking the words out of my mouth. We are people who do what we want and we don't give a shit what other people think.. They only do what they see; We only do what is important to us, no matter what.

heh ebow or even better... my roommate... who gets her coats from nieman marcus and tells me its a coat from laundry... i'm like like laundry? wtf? you got it out of the laundry? thats wrong! but no... turns out its some chic clothes company that little ol me didnt know about cause i dont choose to spend $600 on a coat. and btw i'm proud to say - that my black fuzzy coat cost me $55. so blah!

umm why did i reply to this post again? gah... procrastination is a bitch, aint it?
 
haha yeah and she's gained 15 lbs already since she's been at school... for what, a whole 2.5 months? she's all working out and shit and eating right and what not... while i just sit on my ass all day and eat all day and i havent gained shit (knock on wood)...
woot! i swear one of these days i'm gonna give her drugs... i need to corrupt her! but i just dont wanna waste my drugs on her... gahh... okay i'm going to class now

The corrosion of conformity... That's my wish for the world. But in a world run by tv tubes and magazine matriarchs... is there any hope.
There is hope here...think of those boys in five years... pot bellied, tied to a desk, married to a wife who despises them. With kids who hopefully see the error of their fathers ways and are turning out just like us. Ha!
Where will they find their joy then? ...Probably TV and magazines just like always.

There is hope here...think of those boys in five years... pot bellied, tied to a desk, married to a wife who despises them. With kids who hopefully see the error of their fathers ways and are turning out just like us. Ha!
Where will they find their joy then? ...Probably TV and magazines just like always.

on my flight to london last weekend i got to listen to the jabber of the entire yale boys soccer team all wearing blue adidas suits with their names stitched on them. it made me want to puke. i remember back in high school when i used to get down on myself because i didn't fit in with that type of group. i wanted to be like them. and then the realization smashed me in the head like a cinder block: they're all IDIOTS! so i went about my ways and became what i am. though i'm still down on myself... heh
