yeah i don't want to make them feel like shit which is why i've had so many gfs in the past but i'm building a relationship based on sex and they obviously are not i'm trying to find a way around that from my side or theirs doesn't matter who makes the change just that they want to
 
You have biology working against you, because our programming is to spread our seed to as many healthy woman as possible, and their programming is security and a family. Gay guys have it easy in this respect, because most guys are sex pigs and if you're hooking up with other guys you can get multiple partners every single day with no strings attached. And girls are the opposite. What does a lesbian bring to a second date? A U-Haul. Because they move in together.

You can, like others have said, be honest about your intentions and go out there and see who you find who's like-minded. I think you'll find that you can't change human nature, and if you're sensitive about others' feelings, you can end up feeling guilty on a regular basis. But there's nothing that says you can't follow the beat of your own drummer. Maybe you can make it work in your own way.

HAHAHA "sex pigs," "a u-haul," ... oh, man!

It's awful, but it's true, and I've had gay guys tell me this -- more than one, in fact. I've been told that one-night stands or "casual encounters" between gay guys is just absolutely the norm, nothing out of the ordinary.
 
That's mainstream gay culture though... and that kind of promiscuity is promoted. There are a lot of guys who also want romance too.

It may be more easy to be a sexual opportunist if you're a gay man, but good luck finding one who is open to a heart connection or any kind of higher interaction.

just tell them up front. Don't be a dick and tell them you love them or lead them on. Just tell them you want to have fun. Even if they try to make it more and try to "change" you, you've been honest. I almost think you should be a bit distant and cold. I have a friend who has this on and off girlfriend who he wants to be friends with but can't cuz she wants more and thinks he will come around. I feel bad for her, because I know from what he tells me that he's not into her at all. He tries to be nice, but because they've been off and on dating for so long, she loves him and thinks he'll change. He cares about her and thinks of her like a sister, but he told her he loved her when they first dated, so now she thinks it's more and he will change. He led her on at first, and now he wants to distance himself and still stay FWB, but she wants more. I feel so bad for this girl, and if she didn't hate me for hanging out with him (totally platonic!) I would pull her aside and tell her she can do so so so much better!

He finally told her to fuck off this week after she sent him sexy pics. He's my friend and I know he's a dick and I wish I could tell this girl to move on. But that's what happens when you lead someone on. Just don't do it.
 
i'm not sure i could do the fuck buddy thing unless i hardly know the person if it's someone i know i know i would become personally attached
