FSC Cigs

what's next? Fire safe fire???? Fire safe fireworks??? I don't think that will go over too well.

I smoke camel signatures robust or camel lights and i pay around 6 a pack. I live in arkansas btw...

I don't get it, how could rolling your cigarettes as opposed to getting "tailor mades" reduce your cancer risk by 90%?
 
I miss the old school Camel Filters before they changed them to the new style of cig/pack. the kind that came in the tan pack w the camel standing in the desert.... the new style of camels taste like shit if you ask me. Can i get a witness?

I don't understand the problem with this. I smoke FSC Marlboros and don't find any difference between the two. I am sure there are some people out there who toasted themselves while smoking in bed that wish this whole FSC business was created sooner.
 
Bullshit, but it will probably keep me from burning more of my shirts when I nod off while smoking.

your are smoking marlboro is why. FSC or not a marlboro lacks all flavor of a good smoke

Ive been smoking FSCs for like two weeks now maybe, and I had a non FSC red and it tasted aweful. So whoever said you will get used to it, was right
 
alright im just gonna play devils advocate,,,, i had an FSC and i didn't notice any difference. in fact i didn't even know they were fsc until i saw this thread

switch to Camel Wides? yeah they are FSC here in NY and have been for way over a year, but the wides taste better then the regular Camel filters.
(ps. Camels don't have fiberglass in filters so are biodegradable, and personally not into that whole fiberglass thing anyways).

FSC~maybe a good thing though for those of us that nod hard and always burning holes in clothes and carpets from that cig that just magically falls out of fingers?:\

They should tax macca's as hard as they tax cigerettes the burden on health is probably far worse.

Yeah, cigarettes have been FSC here in CT for almost two years now. They taste awful and are a pain to smoke because they go out if god forbid you do anything else other than puff on that thing like a feind while it's lit. I remember when they started selling them I didn't even know what FSC was or that they existed but I knew something was wrong with these new cigarettes. Convienently when camel switched to the FSC they changed ther packaging/ logo and put a red ring around the base of the cigs so I would just look for stores that didn't sell too much and they still had old packs laying around. I would have rather smoked stale cigs than those new ones. When I went to Florida last november they hadn't been selling the FSC's (and they were like $3 a pack) and I found myself smoking so much more. They tasted fantastic! I almost never buy cigs anymore, I've basically quit (except when I'm at a party or just that special kind of drunk) because not aonly are they like $8 now but they taste awful and leave a weird feeling in my stomache. They even spike my anxiety- it's an overall unpleasant feeling. Haha I saw a picture in my computer the other day that for some reason I took of a pack of cigs way back when (in the old package) and I immediately wanted a cigarette, I could just taste/ feel it calling to me so pleasantly. I lit up a cigarette and was disapointed. Oh well fuck it i guess cigarettes are bad for you anyhow maybe I needed a reason to quit. Way to go government. We can't even smoke in bars anymore, at least let us enjoy them in our own homes/ cars/ wherever else is allowed. I guess not because now they're too shitty to be enjoyed anywhere.

Now that I think about it, I've thought smokes tasted funny, like a turn off, for awhile now. I thought it was just me. It's this bullshit! I hope I get used to it. I left my cigarette sitting there for a minute today and had to puff on it like hell to get it to stay lit

Seattle has been flooded with Marlboro Reds from Vietnam that people sell for $4 on the street...Reds in WA go for like $7. I am assuming these are not FSC....but yeah i miss those old Camel Filters
 
hate these new cigs

I live in michigan too, and recently noticed a metallic taste to my cigarette. Someone in my economics class pointed out to me the fire safe cigarettes thing. I'm pretty pissed about it. They give me headaches sometimes, go out all the time, and taste horrible. I'll probably just start rolling my own if i can't get used to these.
