from heroin to suboxone time frame question

Hi all, I have a question regarding taking suboxone following a 2-3 bag a day tar smoking habit. Tonight my doc is scripting me suboxone as part of an intensive outpatient detox/recovery program. As a final smoke out before I initiate this 6-week ass pain program, I picked up with a friend at around noon today. So overall I smoked some good quality tar, threw the whole .1 rock on the foil so by the end of it I'd smoked about .05/half a bag of personal consumption. So I got a good buzz goin', but I have a medium-high tolerance. I know that if you smoke h while on suboxone, or take suboxone while on heroin, you will experience withdrawals (how bad, anyone? the latter might be my only choice). But my question is, will I be safe to take my doc's prescribed dose of subs/does it pend the dosage of milligrams? So:

Smoked half a bag this afternoon: .05@12:00
approximate time I'll be taking my first suboxone: @6:30-9pm
So thats about a 7 hour window of time between uncomplimentary doses.
I smoked about a bag yesterday too but other than that I've been recently tapering down in anticipation of the suboxone script.

Will I be safe to take the suboxone tonight when I go to my doc or will I enter some sort of ultra-severe withdrawal syndrome/die? Or has enough time passed for the peak effect of the h to have diminished so there is no counteraction with the suboxone? Also, if I am guaranteed abysmal results by taking the sub, anyone have any ideas as to how I can bypass/negate just my dose for tonight? As I've heard formally one must wait 24 hours from the time of their last opiate dose to consuming suboxone.

So if anyone has had bad results with taking suboxone like 7-8 hours after smoking a half-bag of black, please share/recommend a course of action. If I swallow or chew the pill instead of take it sublingually will it still have any effect in synergy with the previously smoked h? Thank you all in advance for the help!
 
You will likely go into withdrawl upon taking the suboxone. MG probably won't matter in this sense.

If you have heroin in your system and take bupe = precipitated withdrawl.

If you have bupe in your system and take heroin, you probably just won't feel the dope.

i would reschedule your doctors apt or be honest with him tonight.
 
You can take opiates on bupe but it's a total waste. Your tolerance is sky high and your receptors are basically saturated after taking bupe. You can shoot an entire bag of good H and not feel a thing. Which sucks, I've been there.
If you take bupe while high on opiates, the bupe will boot off whatever opiate is on the receptor and throw you into withdrawal.
 
Try to wait!

If you can tuff it out, wait until your starting to feel the w/d from the tar. Not bad..kind of like ur getting the flu:( then you take the Bupe. You dont go into heavy w/d and your really high from the sub for a day or 2. But thats the end of the lovin' feelings lol
 
7 hours is not enough time. Ideally you should wait 24-48 hours but I think you can get away with 12-16 hours. But this is at the least. Once I took my Suboxone 8 hours after my last oxycodone dose and I went into precipitated withdrawals, and I will tell you that they feel worse than regular withdrawals. Just from my experience.
 
okAY I HAVE A QUESTION, if i took a couple of bags yesterday, and only did a bag today, how long should i wait before taking the sub, especially if i dont do heroin often, more like a one time thing?
 
Ive waited 7-8 hours after snorting my last dose of H,took the Sub and i was totally fine.Alot of ppl though suggest waiting at least 10-15 hours so i would just do that,especially considering that it will be your first/initiation dose of bupe.

If you swallow the bupe(considering you take a decent dose like 4 to 8mgs) the blocking effects will last for a shorter period of time but they wont be non existent.Id suggest you wait at least 8 hours after swallowing the bupe to do your heroin in order not to waste it.If your initiation dose is something like 2mgs or less,swallowing MIGHT not have a blocking effect at all.

*I recently joined an outpatient sub detox clinic myself,and id suggest you give it a shot instead of trying to bypass the sub from the first day.I did just that(other days swallowing,other days spitting it out while under supervision) and it just complicated things.
 
They suggest 24 hours in between your last use, but I've taken a suboxone 12 hours after my last use and was fine. Everybody is different and everyone's body will react differently.
 
@ keeping it low. I'm doing the 5 day detox with subs I've been using black for 2 months before tht I used subs for 3 months and hated it before that I was on black for 7 months and norcos for 6 years before black I'm on day 2 and have takin 2mg yesterday and 2mg today I feel ok now but need advice on how to taper these next few days I have 10 mg left
