I was abusing patches, 25mcg every hour ones, before that hydromorph. the docs at the va have given me 2 15mg MS Contin per day for 2 weeks then 1 15MG Ms Contin for a week.

Hell this might be do able if the BA of morphine wasnt ass and balls I tried to explain this to them but they wouldnt listen, I do get relief but not much and its making it very hard not to start chewing these mfers up like little skittles I have a feeling I could eat this entire bottle and just feel ok

edit: oh yeah my topic, should I call and ask to instead do 15 3x daily then 15 2x daily then 15 1x daily as I can tell im not gonna be that successful on this taper plan.

You've already stated that you "can tell" you are not going to "be successful" tapering down in this manner. There's your answer.

IMO, considering the fact that you've been abusing Fentanyl and Hydromorphone, you should speak with your doctor about switching to Methadone or Suboxone (Buprenorphine) - both can be used to treat chronic pain (if that is still a factor here), or for withdrawal, or for maintenance. I personally prefer Suboxone to Methadone.

Done and Subs are not avail through the VA at this time.

I don't quite understand what you mean.
I don't really think a doctor is going to give you 3x15mg a day rather than the other plan, and if that even does anything for you, you might as well deal with the withdrawals and get it over with (that is, even if you have a habit at all). You say methadone and suboxone aren't available to you right now, but that seems hard to believe to me. Like I said, if 30-45mg of morphine affects you, you should get out of the game now and take your life with it. If you go further, only bad things will come of it.

dont chime in unless you know what your talking about you obv didnt digest my post, I doubt even 45mg of morphine will make me "feel" anything

SECOND: I asked for suboxone they said this "We have one doctor on our entire premises that can write suboxone but we havnt got him set up and thats at least a half a year away. Methadone is a fee based outside source id have to pay for. I just figured maybe 3 a day would help with the withdrawl but if what you say is true im to scared to call the doctor working with me, its all good though I have a bottle of 30mg oxymorphone and a bottle of hydromorphs but I just cant taper on those I cant get myself to do it. ASS BALLS! oh i still have some fent patches too so I thought i was being pretty steadfast in my taper just didnt think 2x15mg mscontin even touches my withdrawls so what the fuck

If you find the withdrawals are unbearable, maybe
consider going to an in patient rehab

Wish you the best
