"This guy is such a creep that he would shoot up in a public bathroom with his kid with him," Chitwood said. "That's insane."

I actually thought the same thing about this guy.......I try not to judge people but this is low. Please dont bring your kids this bullshit, its hard enough growing up in todays society w/o having to deal with parents like this.

Omg this is so sad...

Damn, not to be judgemental of the guy, but really you should never shoot anything or use any drugs in front of or around kids..but the kid was probably used to seeing that from his dad, many current drug users and past drug users, grew up seeing their parents, family and people in their area using drugs ..

I think parents shouldnt use hard drugs until the kids in college or kid has own place.

Ideally that would be perfect, however this world as so many of us know is anything but ideal. I don't defend the father in this situation, he put himself and his very young child in harms way, but I also do not want to gather the townspeople with torches against him either.

The man obviously needs help, his addiction has spiraled out of control and he needs to re-evaluate the important things in his life. Hopefully this puts things into perspective for him. We all know how difficult it can be to live with an addiction, so remember that before you judge this man.

Ya, in a perfect world everything would be gravy..but ya, not the case irl.

And yes, the dad needs help in the worst way!.. besid3s that, so do other addicts/criminals, they should be rehabilitated instead of incarcerated. Prison scares some straight im sure, but lots of criminals are in and out of jail and prison. From what ive heard, prisons the place to get good connections for when you get out.
