Friend wanted to do acid once i said don't bother

My friend said he had an intrested in doing acid once... and only once. I said those are famous last words and that if he only wanted to do it once that i wouldn't because thats exactly what i said too... What advice would you give?
 
If he says he only wants to do it once, he might be telling the truth. Some people just want experiences but don't necessarily have to do them again. However, if he really likes it and wants to do it again, what's the real problem with that?
If he really wants to do it, he will whether or not he has your permission, and I would rather help a friend enjoy his time and make sure he doesn't have a bad trip or do anything stupid by himself.
If I missed your point, it's because I have no idea what you were trying to ask.
 
Given that acid isn't a physically addictive drug, I'd say there's no problem in him trying it under the supposition that he'd only try it once. If for some reason he tries it and loves it, then it's his job to come to terms with the idea of becoming an "acid user" as opposed to a one-time explorer. It's an idea that I'm sure all of us had to deal with at one point or another, and I for one don't regret my decision.

i know quite a few people that have tried acid JUST ONCE... altho, when i said that..ya know...hehe, i gave up E and became an acid head... as long as he dont become a freak and start trippin all the time, everywhere...he should be ok-- and make sure he knows not to take too many hits cuz you really just dont need it..

After several BAD TRIPS, I don't care much for acid anymore. But, I whole heartedly endorse it as something everyone should try once (and preferable only once). Nothing else will make you question reality quite like cid. Still, I think I'd recommend shrooms over acid.
 
am i the only one who thinks acid is alot easier to handle than mushrooms? A lvl 3 trip on shrooms is a lot more confusing to me than a lvl 3 trip on lsd..
 
Seasoned psychonaut eh; we're that talking about some kind of herb you find on the spice rack are we? Why the fuck did you say don't bother? Acid is the most potent phychedelic one can experience. It's not gonna do anything that bad. I mean we're not talking about drinking bleach here. Maybe you're friend isn't ready for it but he should still take it if he feels he wants to. I mean even if he does have a bad trip he will return to baseline of one blotter.
 
Acid is definitely not the "most potent psychedelic" as Ronald claimed.

I agree with whoever above said acid was easier to control the shrooms. I hate shrooms, theres always a point we're I'm TOO high on them as opposed to an acid trip that seems more leveled out.
salvia is worthless as far as I'm concerned unless you make your unsuspecting friends smoke it as you tell them its shit weed.
 
I certainly think Ketamine kicks acids ass to hell and back again.
And it doesn't scare the shit out of you like acid can do either. The anasthetic vibe keeps you chilled.
And it only lasts an hour - no more 8 hour marathons for me mate!
 
Acid is the best drug out there as far as I'm concerned. It can totally just annihilate you or get you "fucked up" without really fucking up your body in the long run, and there's no better feeling then sitting there, just totally floored and tripped out and amazed by the world. Do it. I've done many a-drug but I won't do anything but Acid anymore and the occasional weed.
