Friend said she "didn't roll hard" on 300+ mg in a night

I'm curious on what your thoughts are for the reason behind this guys. Some good friends went to a EDM show last night with pills provided by myself (from my personal stash), and I got a mixed response from them; two separate friend groups, first of all, they do not know each other. I've tested these pills with a kit, with an instant color of black, along with taking them myself w/ some friends at a show in early Feb. My other two friends and I agree that when we took them in early February, it was one of our best rolls for sure. Each pill contains between 200-220 mg, which I'm sure of. Anyway, back to last night. I went with my best friend to a separate EDM show (sober), and got a call from one of the girls that got 1 1/2 pills for her show that night (300+ mg). She ("Becky") thought she left my purse in her car, which she didn't, but I asked her how her night was. Becky responded to me by saying "I didn't roll that hard, I took a full pill followed by another 1/2 an hour later." I couldn't believe it. I know it's 100% not the pills, because I asked my separate group of friends who went how their night was, and they all said it was incredible, all 6 of them. I asked Becky if she took any SSRI's or MAOI's or any prescriptions for anything, and she said no. I told her that it's clearly not the pills because all my friends, myself included, thought they were amazing. Also, she hadn't rolled in a year since last night, and has previously not abused MDMA at all.

What do you guys think of the situation? I find it strange.

Partyflocks by any chance? There seems to be an issue, not directly with the pill I guess with the ratio of mixture you see, more recently anyway ive been hearing of like 10 mates all having a really good time on them and then like 1-2 really not feeling them that much at all. All could be speculation of course it could be something up with her, set setting, meds im not sure. Its not uncommon.

Each pill contains between 200-220 mg, which I'm sure of.

You're SURE of..? You took each and every pill to the testing center personally and had their MG weight tested?


A presser could easily press 900 200mg pills, and 100 100mg pills and mix the whole bunch.. all people would really notice are the 200mg one, as you have a 9/10 chance to get them, but there would be some people getting disappointed like your friend.

It would be stupid to say 100% sure, as I would have to take them each to a testing center like you said. That's pretty lame that pressers do that =/ I guess that is probably my answer.

I talked to my friend and I think I found out the reason she wasn't really happy with the roll. She went to her show with her friends, her friends popped their pills at 5pm while she did hers at 8 and 8:30. Her friends started coming down around 9:00-9:30 and wanted to leave BEFORE THE HEADLINERS even came on. Instead of saying fuck them and staying, she got in a cab with them and was stuck in traffic for an hour and a half while peaking. When she got back to her friends place, they said she couldn't listen to music because of their neighbors, so they watched lame cartoons instead. That's probably why her roll sucked, although she still thinks she needs to start out with more than 200-220mg lol, which is ridiculous. She still might've got an odd weak pill, but the rest of the story explains everything. Her friends are idiots, especially because they all payed $120 to leave before the headliner came on. Oh well.

Thanks for the insight guys, I hope I don't have weak pills in my batch. All my other friends who took them had awesome times and loved it, saying it was probably their best roll.

No worries, sometimes I feel though people are going out just to experience drugs. No offence but when me and my friends go out to a music event etc we go to listen to the music yes because we love the music house/techno, you see people coming down like "fuck this I want to go home". Then you have to realise, did you take the drugs because you wanted the night to be better, or did you take them because you know you where going to have an amazing night anyway buy wanted to make it better,

Yeah I take E everytime I go out to a club with a DJ on mostly but when I start coming down I dont suddenly start hating the place, we feel ourselfes coming down but , do you understand? never mind im going on a rant here anyway, if you love your music then if your drunnk you can dance to hours to it, then + MDMA and it should be 10+hours untill your are physicall drained, if your there just for the drugs then maybe you gotta think about what your actually there for, if this makes any sense to you at all.

but for sure sitting infront of a television just watching TV would suck balls totally, and its not about the headliner, its about having a good time.

Another thing to keep in mind is when she last ate and what it was that she ate as this will slow and hinder the absorption process. Your explanation of her night definitely makes sense as to why she wasn't where she should've been, though. I went to a rave just last weekend and was rolling at the event (we were only there for the last three or four hours of it) but felt completely sober (and I mean COMPLETELY) when we left and were on our way to an after party. The guy who owned the house that the party was at came up and asked me if I was "rolling tits" and I explained to him that I was, but that I had already come down. He gave me a "yeah okay, whatever" look and took me into a dark room, shut the door, put on my favorite EDM song to roll to and gave me a phenomenal light show. Needless to say, I was rolling HARD again when I left that room.

You know, not sure if this is said already but I have noticed much lately that it is possible to take far to much in one dose. So much that I believe it to be a possible that you feel none of the much desired affects besides the speediness and anxiety during the high. That's why it's believed to be less is definitely more, as in which many will have a much better time instead of plowing through your seretonin receptors in one go.
