Misc Friend drank cough syrup containing CPM, will he be ok?

My friend was stupid and drank cough syrup with CPM (Chlorpheniramine Maleate) I calculated he had about 48mg and weighs b/w 180lbs and 200 lbs. Should he throw up? I want to assure him he'll be ok so he can enjoy himself but if he won't be I want to see he throws up and make sure he's safe. Thank you I really appreciate it.
 
Its hard to tell. CPM has a risk at any significant dose. 48mg is highly significant. 24mg is the absolute maximum that is ever recommended.

Just to note - the deaths involving CPM in Coricidin all happened with less than 10 pills or 40mg of CPM. CPM is also an SNRI and it is metabolized by the same enzyme as DXM which is what makes the DXM/CPM combo particularly deadly
