yeah, i know i would if i ever broke a friends bowl but who knows. i guess i can only hope for the best. imo, it was a one of a kind piece. i have had it for 3 years and have never seen another one like it besides my buddies. other than his, which is also now broken, i haven't ever come across anything close to it.
I wouldn't go so far as to completely stop being friends with him just because he wont replace a bowl. That seems very pettyif he doesn't make any advances to repay you then you can write him off as a friend

Yes this may be the way to go.i think i will go about finding a blower to make something similar
Whose weed were you smoking when he broke it? If he broke your bowl while smoking your weed, I'd tell him that you would like him to buy you a new bowl. I don't think you have any right to demand it of him though. If he doesn't want to pay, you either gotta sue him or kick his ass; and it doesn't seem like either of those are worth it now does it?
If he brought his own weed over to smoke you out, and he broke your bowl, I might tell him "you owe me" but not specify what exactly he owes you. I would be happy if he kept coming by and smoking me out regularly to make up for it or something, even if he only ends up smoking $20 of weed with you over the coming months. It was an accident after all, and he was trying to get you high while he broke it, so I couldn't hold it against him too much in that case.
This is precisely why I only smoke out of 1 piece and own over 10.If it wasn't like that, then people that owned 600 dollar RooRs wouldn't be so willing to let other people smoke their bong.. We look at it like this: The bong owner is treating us to his piece, so we assume responsibility for anything that happens to it while in our control.
