Can't beat a bit of Gang Starr in the morning.

Friday plans fucked, really. Not feeling good enough to either drive two hours or bus it for six, so I'm just going to go buy some chamomile tea and some sushi and make a little fort until Monday or whenever I'm back in uni. Was meant to be meeting my mate's gf and then taking girlthing out but pointless if my stomach is dodgy.
 
Moving to NY sounds like a cool fucking thing to do what's his plans out there? I really want to visit NY. Always imagined it would be like being in a Hollywood movie just wandering the streets.

I'm staying in tonight and likely tomorrow too. Spent a horrendous amount of money on Wednesday. Went out for lunch and ended up drinking through till 6am the next morning. Hangover from hell yesterday too. Was literally saying "just one more beer" from 3pm onwards right though till I was dragged into a taxi at 6am.

Got a bottle of vino here. First time I've drank it in nearly 6 months as it's too pricey out here but someone bought me 2 bottles.

Who say chilled red wine is wrong? It tasted like warm vinegar after sitting in my apartment for the past 3 days but after 24hrs in the fridge it's tasting acceptable again.

But you've not got one of knock's £60 Vinturi Deluxe Aerator gadgets Spade, that'll solve you're warm vinegar problem ... you need a different one for each type of grape tho, so be prepared to splash out. Turns a £5 bottle of wine into a £50 tasting vintage in no time at all

Not enough gadgets that's what it is
 
New York is awesome, worked there for six months in 2010/11, great place to live, so much to do all the time.

Putting red wine in the fridge is totally unacceptable in temperate climates, I guess in Thailand you have no choice though

No I don't have on of those. It took me 3 fucking days to find a corkscrew out here. The supermarkets all sell wine but nothing to open them with.

Then after a mission to get one I attempt to open the bottle of wine and the cork immediately crumbles. Ends up with half of it in the wine and half stuck in the neck.

I left it out until the next day hoping to be able to buy a sieve but they don't sell them either. Just as well really as when I was pouring it down the toilet about a thousand tiny ants came out the bottle with it and drowned in a sea of toilet water and argentian malbec.

Little fuckers enjoyed the wine more than I did. Was glad I hadn't paid for that bottle as it's not cheap out here and was a nice bottle.

Same thing nearly happened with another bottle I was given (another freebie, perks of being awesome ;)) yesterday but managed to salvage it!

I already posted the best way to uncork a bottle of wine without the proper implements in here ages ago.

You just need a traditional wooden spoon and a tea towel. I've done it tons of times with no cork splitting or mess.

My mate had a stint in new york, did a few states.. its wierd how its so similar to films you watch etc,.... Maybe I just watch too many american films, like not being allowed to have an "open container" in the car, even if a passenger is drinking... or having an "open alcoholic container" in the streets, unless of course you cover it with a brown bag which just shows you have booze under there..

I think sankeys have just opened over there, its a franchise though so fuck knows what it will be like, theyve got some big fuck off hydraulic ceiling though that goes up and down, would get trippy (lowers to just above the speakers.)

Anyway had some botox neck injections this morning so im feeling a tad rigid (not as fancy as it sounds), fucking strange feeling anyway. It seesms to have stop my neck spasms for the meantime. Going out to some Halloween party, not got anything to wear yet, ive a mask.. thatll do. Ket coke and mucho booze it seems.

I cant even think how using a wooden spoon would work unless you're bashing the cork into the wine?

It looks like it should be so easy to open a bottle of wine but I always fuck it up. After watching a YT video last night I think I've mastered it now. It's all about how you put the sharp bit of the corkscrew in. You need to put it flat / horizontal so the tip goes in straight before turning it vertical and screwing it in.

P.S.

I don't make much money from Amazon. Commission is too low 4-7% even though it does convert very well being so well known and trusted.

Made much more money from Clickbank, Commission Junction, Linkshare and other networks + my own products.
 
Tonight I will mostly be sitting in my hospital bed. If my bloods look OK in the morning I might be discharged tomorrow though! I doubt there will be much in the way of partying this weekend though.
