Small heaving techno party tonight, unfortunately at a venue I despise, but supporting a friend by attending. Tomorrow I'm going to eat a disgusting amount as it's lunch at a hardcore Ockabasi (sp?) restaurant then dinner at a chef's house.

Dunno how to keep it calm tho, I havent exactly got tons cash to throw away. I do ,however, have a bag of weed, a bag speed & some polo mints so they'll help amused. Quite one for me this reason.

The following pay-say week next weekend I've got Maya Jane Coles at Subby on Friday night, DJ Sneak on Saturday. Then on Sunday (with a 5am license) Pressure (The Arches) has Dubfire, Ambivalent, Slam, Ivan Smagghe (I wish the guy would piss off, absolutely barking tunes everytime I've seen him although 90% of people) who, for the most part, I have some respect for their music of choice.

You cant say they never treat you up in scotland ey! 5am, early doors that down here. Count ourselves lucky I guess, been in Mint Club in Leeds a few times at 10am still completley rocking, the outdoors terrace open.

Few clubs in Manchester aswell, usually the smaller after party ones that are open till 2pm the next day in the afternoon, down in London seems theres no time limit at all, close when everyone leaves, usually gets pretty nasty anyway in the afternoon going for a good 13 hours.

Sankeys Manchester closing partys coming up,

4th May Daytime party with the outside part open.. Sasha, Bones etc then night time Apollonia, dyed soundrom, shonky + dan ghenacia. Then 6th May daytime party again Joris voorn, TiNi, enzo siragusa ... then another nightime party but see how it goes. They arent half rinsing it to death though for the final closing stages. Still a possibility of 5th may Todd Terry, graeme park, 808 state, kklass too many ! Sad though hes closind down the manchester sankeys and taking his whole team to the ibiza sankeys, wasnt even like they were losing money just said he cant do 2 things at once basically, now warehouse got a monopoly on manchester.

Anyway got a crate and heading to my mates, all ready well behind everyone

Licensing hours here are stupid, normally it means house party after club so it doesn't mean the night's over (not that I go out much at the moment), but I miss my weekends in London going out on Friday, dancing till it's daylight and carrying on at a pub till midday.

I'm planning to get some sleep tonight then hill walking tomorrow, meet a friend on Sunday for lunch etc. I'm going to see how if my MXE tolerance has gone down a bit in a minute though :D
