Benzos freshness of alprazolam

so i usually get my alprazolam in the 2mg bar form, ONAX and other non-US brands are common. i assume these bars have changed hands quite a few times and are usually not very fresh. I also get 1mg footballs when available, and i recently met a guy who was prescribed footballs. he gave me some of his for free for driving him to the pharmacy and one of these had me feeling NICE. i honestly felt [what TO ME] seemed to be a substantial difference in quality. does anyone else have similar feelings as mine? or can someone convince me its all in my crazy ass head =D

FYI my tolerance to benzos is not low - 2mg xanax chills me out, 4mg when i want to get relatively fucked up (how much i usually take when i'm munching on xannies)
 
The shelf life of prescription pills is substantially long. As long as they are not left out in the rain or something like that, they won't degrade very quickly. Obviously, the best way to store pills is in a cool, dark, sealed container. If done so, they should last years and years.

Now there is a whole 'nother debate regarding the quality of various generic brand benzodiazepines, but this discussion has been beaten to death and is not allowed.
