Hello there guys, I'm very interested in natural stimulants/psychoactive plants and found Khat.

I read it grows in Eastern Cape, South Africa! And that's where I live !
I think this is it:

OK guys I chewed some I think it is, turns white-ish-green (really light green) just like Somali locals say good fresh Khat is suposed to.

Slightly numbed tongue and lifted mood a bit, feeling of craving for more?? I'll post more pics when morning to make sure it is Khat.

Does it matter if the leaves aren't like serrated like some other photos?? I'm beginning to doubt if it IS actually Khat??

looks just like the main picture there on wiki -- I don't know about the legality of it in your country but I'd sure take advantage of it. Natural intoxicants / botany / phytochemistry is my fav science stuffs to study. More people should know about the world of medicinal herbs... there's a plant for just about everything!

Edit: Ehh notice this thread is a bit old. That's definitely khat judging by the pics in the link I posted. Thread seems fit for closing.
