I did a search but didn't find a thread about this. If there is, just point me to it.

If not, I'm interested in freebasing DPT. It seems impossible to get DPT in its freebase form here, so I have to do it myself. Any advice would be greatfully appreciated. I really want to smoke DPT, I've never IV'ed anything and I'm not going to IV DPT either. It's not about some attitude problem towards IV'ing, I just feel too unsecure to do it because I have no experience. I'm experienced with vaporizing so I'd prefer that.

Well, there is a couple of methods on this here:

DPT Physical properties thread
Smoking DPT Thread

should be some info in the main DPT thread also. The most common methods involve dissolving DPT in basic solution with NaOH or ammonia and either filter out precipitate, or extract with a non-polar solvent and evap. There is a simpler way also, by adding sodium bicarbonate(I think?) on foil with the DPT HCl and just smoking that as is. :)

I see you have found and posted in the smoking DPT thread, cyanoide - thanks to 'drugs'. Please use the Psychedelic Index to find the Big & Dandy DPT thread where every subthread is also listed. DPT may be the compound that is most often discussed related to salt-freebase conversion (going either way).
I trust that you can find everything there. Let me post the link for you now and close the thread:

Admittedly there are not really any other subthreads at this point but check the Big & Dandy Thread itself, there can be info about it in there that has not been reorganized yet.
