Freebase 4-aco-dmt. How to ingest?

My vendor just got some 4-aco-dmt freebase in and i was wondering how you would use this?
could you smoke it ?
is it actve orally??

Just eat it, no point freebasing tryptamines.

Freebase tryptamines will degrade more rapidly than their salt forms, it's better to get 4-aco-dmt fumarate/maleate.
 
I have bought the furmrate from my supplier it is very brown and degrated. they just received 4-aco-dmt freebase . i would like too purchase this anyway .

as the title says, do you know how too ingest this chem?
 
incidentally the fumarate your received is not degraded its just brown because of an impurity in the synth. its claimed to be 98.9%
it will get gooey when it degrades.
and your freebase should go straight in the freezer if you want it to last.
 
it is also possible to be smoked and comes on instantly. The dosage is significantly lower than oral (3 to 5mg increments or less until you reach a desired level). The duration is also reduced to about 2 hours. Smoking the freebase also had a sort of rush in which heart rated was elevated and then gradually returned to a normal rate, which is why you should smoke in small increments and not all at once, as that could cause discomfort/anxiety. Eating it also works just as fine.

interesting! i had somehow gotten the impression that 4-aco-dmt would never be suitable for smoking or vaporization regardless of form.

i'm very intrigued because i think that could prove to be an excellent adjunct to oral dosing of the same substance.
ie last time i tripped i did not quite reach the peak i had aimed for and it was way too late to be eating any more.
 
Yeah I was not sure it would work either cause I couldn't find much information on smoking it. But sure enough it did work. Freebase only, smoking any of the salts will not work. As with dmt it has to be sandwitched between herbs to protect it from the flame or vaporized because direct heat will just destroy the 4-aco-dmt before it enters your lungs.
 
I was uncertain whether to post this here or the B&D but alas I chose here.

My question is not how to ingest per say as I tend to favour an oral ROA .. but rather is there a better way to orally ingest 4 aco dmt freebase than simply just swallowing? Ie - Would converting to a salt (perhaps using lemon juice or fumaric acid) prior to ingestion aid absorption/the speed of absorption?

No fumarate ≠ hcl. Though both are salts. To my understanding fumarate is more stable than hcl which is more stable than the freebase. Thus for stability fumarate > hcl > freebase. However the opposite is true for the amount needed to reach the same level, due to the added weight of the "salt" (fumarate or hcl).

There is a thread, linked above, which provides a dose calculator. Said calculator can equate a dose of fb to either hcl or fumarate (and perhaps more, I am not sure) or hcl to fumarate (I think).

And we can only speculate as to which you will be receiving, best to ask the sender.

Doesn't really mean its degraded. IIRC it just means it never underwent full acetylation in the synthesis.
I've had very potent brown dirty looking 4-aco-dmt fumurate
 
tried to eat 17 mg this morning waited for effects 4 hours dident feel anything after 4 hour i tried to vape like half of 10 mg and got a really bad headache that i just laid under in my bed for about 2 hours with eye closed... felt just like shit no really effects
 
Time for a mini-rant about psilacetin as prodrug vs psilacetin as its own thing.

Psilacetin should actually be degraded to psilocin rapidly by carboxylesterase in humans. Carboxylesterase is a very "promiscuous" enzyme that is responsible for metabolising both esters on heroin. It also goes after cocaine, meperidine, lidocaine, methylphenidate, and basically any ester it can get its hands on. It actually has two binding pockets and can metabolise two cocaine molecules at once.

In liver carboxylesterase does not get it, then serum butyrylcholinesterase should.

Like the 3' position on heroin, the phenolic ester is rapidly cleaved due to the high intrinsic acidity of the free phenol compared to a "plain" alcohol. So it should be easily broken in mild acid or base. Meaning: It should also hydrolyze rapidly in stomach acid.

If you acquire the freebase try vaporizing what about 75% of your oral dose to reach similar effects. When vaporized it has a much more novel and interesting effect profile and has much more interesting visual effects. It gave me an Arabic like script flowing through my visual field after vaping a moderate-high dose (can't remember exact dose ATM)
