If you were a black hole, where would you direct our kind
In a universe of harmony, would hate still oppress mankind
The question is, what altruistic love affects people
What universal morals extend beyond the church steeple

The way the universe works, is quite simply conceptual
Though hard to reach, enlightenment isn’t just contextual
Constant harmony is a difficult goal
But directing one's happiness is the aim of a healthy soul

What is wrong or right,
Is not a straight forward question
Is it to give up ones life for the sake of protection
Ignoring selfish greed, from loneliness and rejection.
Or to destroy human life, through bombs and terrorism

Are we capable of love, do we know who we are
Why do simple goals appear so far
Where do we put our heart, if we don't know whats right
How do we extend earths goals beyond daily plight

The world revolves around evolution
As does the universe with everyone’s inclusion
So which way do we evolve to find new order
To end discomfort and find resolve for thoughtless slaughter

Some hate love, and some love to hate
Some like thugs while others date mates
people like chaos which contrasts order
some try really hard and some don't even bother

We find bliss through artistic expression
Through individuality we avoid oppression
We avoid alienation and find self worth
By finding an outlet to create heaven on earth

Heaven isn't all fun and games of lazy satisfaction
It is not the opposite of hell, or a place of detraction
It’s a place harmony and balance, of bliss and terror's interaction
That creates the beauty that we call origination

Perhaps a collective consciousness is an achievable goal
A connection of energy...
A collection of souls
Perhaps this is what we are here on earth for
To reach a new harmony
Or at least make it a goal

Well done, deep conceptual rhyme with good questions. Conscious rhymes is my favourites. Enjoyed it alot!

I read it more as an ''rap'' than poetry, if you get what i mean? If you've ever listened to Eyedea and his more thoughtful pieces, i could find similiarity to his and this rhyme. I loved it, keep it up! :)

haha, cheers man
I sent it to a few friends and they suggested the same thing.
I produce music, I have a microphone, but I don't like my voice enough to be able to hear it in a track. Let alone hear it bounce back through the speakers.

Maybe I'll get over it, or just find someone else to sing for me, haha.

Nice to have something to build my confidence like your comment though, appreciated.
