I think the petition is a great thing, but I think you should have really come up with some harder hitting points other than what boils down to essentially "legalize this drug since its safer than others"

Thats not going to fly with any sort of law maker or politician.
 
hahaha nothing will fly with these fuckers... Not trying is not an option! I know it's not perfect but I haven't ever done anything like this before, have you? I also had to adhere to various petitioning rules about severe language & bear in mind a number of other restricting considerations that you may not have thought about.

What interested me was, given how much bitching & moaning everyone does here when the law changes, how many British people here would take a stand IF they had a chance. That's what I'm doing, giving people a chance, to see if they have what it take to put their money where their mouths are.

I am not for a single second expecting to change the law. In fact, in even my wildest dreams all I genuinely hope for is to draw our people together, to help unify us against those who see us as their enemy. I havent got money, power or millions of friends. I've got my brains & my balls & that's all I can work with while I'm working alone...

So find some Brits to sign the damned thing & stop picking holes ;)
 
I know buddy, & I appreciate every word of it, we all in this together now :) When the petition runs out in a year I'll run up another one & we'll try get ALL the points across as concisely & clearly as possible next time.

I'm just taking the piss outta ya, it's an English thing Lol
 
Any kind of a response from elected officials?

I physically mailed my MP, but I received no response.

Would it help to write the British consulate in my country?

Haha response from officials? I suspect Pigs may take flight over hell on a freezing day! ;)

It honestly can't help but I doubt the remit of overseas consulates extends beyond the basic needs of travellers & economic relations with the host country.
