Im not sure where to post this so sorry if it's the wrong place.

I am in a terrible position right now. I have lost my job and I soon might lose a place to even live. I have absolutely no income at all.

Well I have been going to a suboxone clinic for about 8 months now. I have been on opiates for a couple of years before that. I have also been on klonopin for the past couple of years. I currently get both from sub doc.

I am at the point right now where I can't afford to see one doctor one more time! I can't afford my medicine or anything. To tell the truth I won't to get off both anyways. Or give it a real try anyways.

I cannot detox at my house because I do not have one. What am I supposed to do? I have nowhere to go through the detox at!

I see all kind of inpatient detox rehab centers around but none are free! Is there some kind of assistance I can apply for? I can't just detox out on the street can I?

I know this might depend on where someone might live but is there any place anyone has heard of that is free to people with no income. Other than prison or jail of course.

How much does it cost to go to one of those places you see on the a&e show intervention? I'm not religious at all but I would even be willing to go to a religious place. Just as long as it's inpatient.

I live in America.

I don't know if I'm looking for any one specific free inpatient detox center.

I'm just wondering if such a thing even exist anywhere? Or if anyone here has been in a similar situation.

yes, there are places that will accept you for free. But they often have long wait lists. Call your local NA and ask about detox centers in your area.
