found unknown drugs. any ideas?

so my friend found a tin on the ground with a biggie of white/clear crystals/powder and one 25mg seroquel. there looks to be about 1-2 grams of crystals. im just trying to look for a clue to what this stuff might be. i dont expect to actually get a conclusive answer obviously. i have a mecke test kit and plan to test it tomorrow, if it is meth would mecke not react at all? being such a large quantity its likely not a RC or anything, and its too crystalline to be coke (coke doesnt look like crystals right?). is there any drug that would make sense to be with a seroquel? at this point my main guesses are meth or mdma. its like a puzzle=D=D!!

update:
i took a look at the stuff today and they are perfectly clear tiny crystals. i tested it with mecke, it bubbled and fizzed a lot and turned yellow to black. any ideas? ive never heard of a fizzing reaction, especially one that fizzed so violently.

could be meth, could be chimney cleaning crystals, is a buzz worth the risk?
 
i didnt say i was going to go gobble some down.... im just curious, i have a fascination with drugs as do most people on this site.
 
Seraquel to sleep on the comedown possibly. I should tell you not to try it, it could be cyanide, but you will anyway. So would I. At least start tiny, assume it's DOI and 1 mgs will be active.
 
I would not do it; theres no telling what it is. It could be fentanyl for all you know which you could OD from even from a tiny little minicule bump.

I will admit I did do coke that my friend's girlfriend found in the restaurants bathroom me and her worked at but that was after they already stupidly tried it out and it was confirmed it was coke. She was pretty sure it was the manager's
 
back in highschool days i found some coke outside a 711, dabbed a tiny bit on my gums and it was coke. nice find, was some of the better coke ive ever done too. probably good i didnt meet the guy selling it
 
Stash half of it, then go and hand the other half in to the cops.

They will think you are a legend and will probably tell you what is was once they have tested it.

then either enjoy or throw away the other half.

just an idea.

Precincts by me do this. You can turn something in to them in a sealed envelope with a code name on it. A couple days later, call and tell them the code name and they will tell you the results. The purpose was for parents to be able to identify possible drugs that their children had, but you can obviously use the service to your liking.

How long did the reaction Mecke take?
can you describe the color sequence a bit better or was it just straight yellow to black?

if it were a marquis test, bubbling could indicate dxm. on a mecke test yellow can also indicate dxm...

but if the transition was yellow then to a purple it could be a worthwhile 2-C type chem. perhaps your black was really a deep purple? I'd test it a few more times with Mecke to be certain
 
i tested what looked like maybe 10 mgs of it, i felt the crystals and it left a slippery residue on my fingers. the reaction fizzed ALOT and turned yellowy brown, kind of rust like to black/very dark brown over about 8 seconds. that being said, my test kit somehow is messed up and is slightly brown to start with and gives weak, odd reactions sometimes but it has never bubbled before. i need to somehow get a hold of a good working test kit :\
 
sounds like you may just have bunk mecke... brown is not usually associated with the mnecke test, atleast I don't think it is, could be wrong.

the closest thing to what you described would be the 2C-X family of drugs but its a stretch to say that "yellowy brown, kind of rust like to black/very dark brown over about 8 seconds" fits with "yellow/orange/red/purple sequence indicates a substance from the 2-C-T-xx family"
 
Just heat some up in a light bulb, if it turns into white vapour, then cools down back into glassy stuff it's probably meth. Also you'll be able to tell by the smell of the vapour if it's meth without even risking taking a hit.
