Opioids Found some OCs

I found a container of OCs.
Maybe 50 - 70. So the trouble is that they've been mixed with a liquid, and I'm gonna assume it's water, but I'm not sure.
They've become saturated and have turned into a slimy bluish gel.
It would be great If I could salvage these. Does anyone know what water does to OCs when they've been left sitting around for a while?

Second question, if it's water, what should I do with these?

Thanks

who just throws away a bottle of OC's? I would say nice find, but idk if they are salvageable or not, who knows what the liquid could be......

i wouldn't even chance taking it ,i know it's tempting but there's no way to be sure if it is water or something else without testing, and we can't tell over the internet..
But if it is water i don't think it changes the oxycodone in any way like how water turns H to morphine.
But i still wouldn't take it, this is a harm reduction site and i don't think anyone will tell you to take gooey pills you found in the trash mixed with liquid that you aren't completely sure what it is,

This sound's super sketch. Stay away throw it away there is nothing you can do or should do with this except throw it in the garbage.

They were found in a disposal bin in a Drs office where other drugs are disposed of.
People bring in unused pills for disposal
I'm a janitor at the place.

Stop trying to make these work. Chances are if she adds a liquid to all narcotics then it's most likely NOT just water. It's clearly being used as a deterrent and should be keeping them in the trash as expected.

take it out of the liquid, keep the liquid in a seperate container, the oxies in a seperate container.try to find out what the liquid is,if its plain old clean water...you are one lucky bastard!!

If you happen to be in wisconsin...
...
If that method of disposal isn't available, place the medications in a container that can be sealed. Add a small amount of water to the medication to make a slurry. Add cat litter, plaster of paris, or some other absorbent material to the slurry. Finally, seal the container and place the container in the garbage. Remove or obliterate any labels identifying the container as containing medications. See Section D for links to federal guidance on this process.

Sounds dodgy; I'd find them impossible to throw though.

Maybe heat a little of the liquid and smell it as it's boiling?

If it's piss or something weird then you should be offended in the nostrils.

Maybe you could buy an OC80 and mix it with water and compare the taste?

I'm sure someone with a bit of chemistry knowledge could give you a better answer; maybe you could add an appeal to chemists to the thread title.

^Do you read the threads or what? They are pills disposed of by a doctor's office as per federal regulations which I mentioned in the post right before yours. I highly doubt the doctor pissed in it.

There are labs online that will test this goo for you for a nominal fee, I would DEFINITELY send it off to the lab for mass spec analysis before throwing away a potential gold mine ;)

lucky bastard...
Luck? Or years of intense training and career planning to become a janitor emptying out the medication disposal bin at a medical facility?

There are also bums on the street who will test it for the chance it will get them high. Try and find hobo brothers so you can use one as a control. Twins would be ideal.

Considering you don't know what else was put in there, and if it's really just water, your safest move is to throw them back out. Also, consider that you don't really know what dose you'd be taking.

If for whatever crazy and ill informed reason you decide to use them, start with a very small dose and take it orally. But seriously, throw it out.

I put the stuff in a blender and added some more water then broke it all up that way.
Then I cooked a bit of it to see how it would behave, and it melted and became a consistent soup, still slimy though.
It tasted the way OCs taste when I've chewed em.
I made a cuppa coffee and put a couple cc in there and drank 1/4 cup... not bad... wait a couple hrs drank another 1/4 cup.

I could use a back scratcher right now

I definitely gotta be careful with this stuff.

Yeah throwing it out would be the safest bet... But I have enough of this to last me til 2011

i know that harm reduction would say just toss these, but there's no way i could bring myself to do that

then again, i have zero connections for ANY opiate where I live now (blessing or curse? def a blessing)....i'd measure this out by volume so i could at least visually judge the dose, relative to your last one, perhaps microwave it for a few seconds before i took each dose (kill SOME of the bacteria that are surely growing in the water, although i'm not sure how well things would grow in liquid oxycodone)

lucky focker, and those of you saying "throw it out", get drugs with way less effort than some of us.....(this is kind of by self-design....can't be a junkie when you dont know where to find junk . )
