Found old Opiates

Today I found a full bottle (480ml) of hycotuss. It is a Expectorant Syrup with hydrocodone bitartrate(5mg) and guaifenesin(100mg) per 5ml.

I also found a bottle of Paregoric, U.S.P. which was half full(about 250ml) which has Anhydrous Morphine(2mg) per 5ml.

My question is what is my best course of action with dosing these to get the best effects. I take tramadol currently, which is perscribed, and I take 6 pills a day (50mg * 6). So I do not have much of a tolerance. So what will give me the best return on these? And what should I dose at? Any suggestions?

maaan paregoric, that's how i found out opiates. it's available OTC here and two 30ml bottles (it's 0,5mg/ml here, so 30mg morphine) gives me a nice buzz. i have no tolerance at all though. i'd just squeeze those little bottles into my mouth, they tasted like SHIT, and then i'd chase it with whatever was on hand.

your paregoric seems to be 0,4mg/ml though, just do the math. 15mg of morphine should be enough to get a taste of it, in fact, that was my first dose and how i discovered it. when i was a kid i'd have diarhea and cramps wtv pretty frequently and my father always used to give me paregoric, of course, just a few drops of it, 'cuz he said his grandma did this to him. one fine day i was having the worst diarhea ever so i just picked up the bottle said fuck it and drank it all. 1 hour later i was laying in bed, moaning and thinking 'man, this feels good', rolling around the sheets.

so yeah, enough story i guess... drink your paregoric, it might have lost potency, but who knows. do your math, i'd start with 15mg of morphine (may be more, who knows).
