you should read the forum guidelines before you post here. I've made it easy for you....
3) NO PILL ID's .. this is a big one .. simply put, if you have a pill and you don't know what it is, you are NOT ALLOWED to make a post asking for help in identifying it, for instance, say you have a white pill that says "DAN" on one side and "205" on the other.. well, you CAN NOT MAKE A POST TO THE FORUM ASKING FOR AN ID .. these threads are DELETED with no explaination .. but you DO have some options:
*) You can call poison control - if you look in the front of the phone book there will be a number for poison control, MOST poison control centers will freely give out this information.. you simply give them a description of the pill (codes and such) and they will tell you what it is, the dose, etc.. it should be noted that a lot of poison control centers are making the move to only providing pill-id's to law enforcement or medical personal only.. I won't expalain how to fake this..
*) You can call you local pharmacy, if you tell them you found a pill in your son/daughters room and fear they may be abusing drugs, most pharmacists will be more then happy to identify it..
*) Or, and this is the best way - go to
http://www.rxlist.com .. they have a search engine that allows you to searhc by imprint code, and it's very accurate!
SPECIAL NOTE TO ALL FORUM MEMBERS - if someone posts a pill-id, it might not be possible for a moderator to close the post right away, PLEASE do not help the offender by giving information about the pill, this will only encourage future pill-id posts...
