Fortune Cookie
I sat alone at home,
Waiting for your call.
Nervously fidgeting as I do,
When I'm unsure of what is to be.
Scraping together a meal,
From last nights leftover chinese.
A single fortune cookie mocked me,
To ask it about what fate lay before me.
CRACK CRACK MUNCH MUNCH
Tell me what will tonight bring?
Foolhardy anticipation as the message is revealed
- "You will be better of after tonight's experience" -
I wry smile crossed my face.
Maybe, just maybe...
The nonsensical ramblings of a,
Deformed biscuit may yet lead true.
Out that night with a false sense of security,
Provided by a cracker company.
It never happened.
Maybe it wasn't meant to be after all.
I don't know why I opened it.
I don't even like Fortune Cookies.

Dont Call Me

Unless you can see inside my head, you couldn't possibly understand... I'm happier when things are falling appart... but you'll never know, just by looking at me!

if you found out you were dreaming, would you want to wake up?
Please don't interrupt me. That last sentence took a lot of effort to think of and now I have to think of another one.
