Anyone hittin' any up this summer?

Shambhala, Symbiosis, Big Bounce...anyone?

I dont think ill be able to this year except for a few PsyTribe parties (:() but I just wanted to create a thread for those who are going to talk about upcoming events.

We can also talk about past events, share pictures/stories, etc.
 
symbiosis has a lineup i love almost every year, but it's right after burning man and i just can't rally for another major party and camping trip that fast.

i'm not sure what my campout season is looking like yet. it will probably include a renegade in big sur and possibly another party called wilderbeats up in the foothills.
 
Just reminded me to get reggae on the river tickets... it's the 2 days before my B-day, too :D

northern california, placer county. it must be coming up on its 10th year by now, but it's kind of an insider's party and the info spreads primarily by word of mouth.

i just found this awesome blog entry about the event... can't believe i hadn't seen it until now! that should give you an idea of how we roll at wilderbeats.
 
Im placer grown, but not a big fan of the camping we have.. I kinda like to travel a bit if Im gonna camp......Nooooor callllllll
 
i hit up faeries and fools a couple of weeks ago, my first official outdoor party of the season. it was a blast, and not too cold. shambhala is definitely a go, with such an incredible line-up, i can't not miss it!

So did anyone hit up Lightning in a Bottle? Sadly didnt make it this year, but I know that it was amazing. The Do Lab never fails to amaze, and their line up was stellar. 08 was absolutely out of this world, im sad I wasnt able to make it this year :(
 
LIB was waaay sick. OTT was just pure bliss. Does anyone know if symbiosis is going on this year? I'm assuming no..
 
the raindance campout is this weekend for anyone in california looking for a great outdoor party.

i just bought tickets to the outside lands festival in august. while it's definitely more of a concert than a forest gathering, the two-day event is in golden gate park so it should still be pretty lush :)

as for symbiosis, unfortunately morons fucked that up a while back and i think it's probably still a no-go.
 
Symbi is a no-go?!
Makes me a bit happier seeing as I wasnt going to be able to make it, but what hepened that this is the case? Very sad, and I hope it starts up again next year.
 
for you midwest psy heads, sacred earth open air is going on this weekend in central wisconsin. chilluminati always throws a helluva party.
 
Attending dude wheres my tent in sw MI the weekend of july 16th and 17th... No rothbury this year :(....
 
I'd love to attend a forest gathering like the ones you guys are talking about, sounds like exactly my cup of tea...
Is there any website that has a list of upcoming events in certain areas, or is it all just kind of by word of mouth? I live in SoCal, and I'd love to be able to see a list of events so I can plan on going to a couple this summer...
