Opioids For People who Shoot Opana (Oxymorphone) IR

I was curious to hear from people who shoot Opana IR. It seems like most people get prescribed the ER's which are dangerous and from what I hear, impossible to IV.

However I get the IR's and was curious about others who get these and shoot them.

Specifically Im curious how you prepare them for IV and if you've noticed any complications from this practice. I always micron filter mine, but still have concerns that there may be some dangerous fillers getting through.

Also Im curious about potency. All conversion charts show oxymorphone to be almost twice as potent mg for mg as hydromorphone via IV. What I find strange however is that hydromorphone actually feels stronger to me. I usually shoot 6mg of hydromorphone which theoretically should be about 4mg of oxymorphone however I find I actually need MORE oxymorphone (about 7mg) to get similar effects to the 6 of hydromorphone.
Has anyone else experienced this?
 
I can't really speak about equivalency in regards to hydromorphone, but I have used IV oxymorphone, and it is one strong fucking narcotic. When injected intravenously it is easily 10x stronger than oxycodone. This may sound hard to believe, but I remember that when I was using the old Opana IR's, I also happened upon 3 30mg Oxycodone IR pills, which I also (stupidly) injected, all at once. I can say with conviction that 90 mg of IV oxycodone does not touch 10 mg of IV oxymorphone.
 
IV oxymorphone was one of the most intense rushes I've ever experienced from drugs, period. But the high was so short it left me incredibly disappointed.
 
jIf you micron filter, you should be as "good" as possible.

I shot plenty of the IR's in my day. They are sooo strong. I find the rush isn't as strong as IV hydromorphone, but it last longer. Still not that long though. I preferred a shot of 2mg hydromorphone and 5mg oxymorphone when I had both.

Be real careful man - also, tolerance is a bitch.
 
oxymorphone is the most euphoric opiate IMO. especially IV.

snorting oxyM is more euphoric than shooting dope IMO.

It has the second best rush only one that beats it is hydroM.

but oxyM has 10x the legs so id take it over hydroM anyday of the week.

Be careful though for real man. This shit is EXTREMELY potent. I lost one of my best friends to the shit and he was only snortin it.

shooting pills is NEVER safe. But as stated, using a micron will make it MUCH safer.

Also your tolerance will shoot up quick as fuck using oxyM especially IV'ing it . ( no pun intended lol )
 
I find hydroM to be much better than oxymorph. I usually do no more than 8-10mgs hydro and 10mgs oxymorph wasnt doin it for me at all.

No joke! A friend of mine hooked me up with a bunch of the IR's and I spent about two weeks shooting 10mg's 4-6x/day. Before this I had been maintaining on a low IV bupe habit (.6mg/day), and by the end of my run, 90mg of oxycodone IV plus Heroin couldn't even touch me. Not to mention getting back on subs...
 
I cannot IV myself because my veins are so hard to get to, not from any damage, i was just born that way. So I IM it. Using a micron filter is definitely the safest, but ive discovered you lose a lot of the oxymorphone in the micron filter, so I switched to using cotton and have been getting a much stronger feeling and more liquid out of the cotton, and the solution is nearly totally clear. This is pretty much the strongest medicine that is used in hospitals, and not used often at all. The reason people feel higher when injecting dilaudid, is because it doesnt last as long and is absorbed faster, which im sure if you did a similar dose of morphine youd feel an even better rush because it lasts even less as long and is absorbed faster: 1-3hr half-life. And heroin, or diacetylmorphine, is just morphine which is absorbed twice as fast, creating an even larger rush, but wearing off very quickly. I don't usually get high from IMing my oxymorph, but it definitely does wonders for my pain.
 
I think it's all in your head of you think your getting higher when you use cotton vs micro filtration.

You don't lose that much of the drug with micro filtration. I'll find the thread that states this. You can also look it up too.

It's way safer than cotton.
 
I don't really understand all the exaggerated hoopla about oxymorphone. I've now IV'd it several times and I think hydromorphone has a more intense and euphoric rush. However, oxymorphone is similar to hydromorphone in that it has absolutely no staying power or "legs". Heroin/morphine are way better because they provide an intense rush plus an actual high that lasts a while. Levorphanol is also better than oxymorphone.
